**5 stars so everybody see**, ZERO IN REAL LIFE!!! After had been coming here for 3 years, since they were at the old shop to the new one, I was ignoring the dirty looks, side comments and 20$ up charge because of my hair texture. First of all, from I first started coming here even to recently, I was paying 65$ that included, trim & keratin treatment even after I called over the phone previously and you told me the price was 35-45$ depending on my hair etc w everything still included, but obviously I know what you guys were doing all this time & I was sweeping the 20$ upcharge under the rug because I do have a lot of hair to work with. Until my recent visit, this time I opted out of the keratin treatment and wanted a basic wash, blow dry and flatiron of course still prepped with the right products and mind you I also go to ppl who specialize in African American hair and they get it bone straight w out the temporary perm so idk what this lady was trying to tell me. I get here expecting to pay a lil less than 65$ because I didn’t want a treatment but the lady at the desk looked at my hair and charged me 60$, I said okay. Mind you, she doesn’t know that I come here all the time and know what she really charges her own people but still I said okay w.e. It’s 45$ for them w keratin & trim included and 60$ for me no treatment, no trim? Ok. Then She gets to washing my hair, and she ups the price to 75$, NEVER have I ever paid that for a blowout! She starts blow drying my hair, ripping my hair w a big paddle brush and I’m even begging like, “ma’am, can you separate it into sections, it’s easier to manage that way”, she ignored me and continued to do what she wanted. They start to flat iron my hair both her and the owner, and she’s somehow not getting my roots but burning my scalp still. Doing a million and one passes, knowing my hair was not prepped properly nor looked right. And if she couldn’t do it without the treatment, she should have sent me away! She offers me a trim which I also expected to be included in this now 75$ tab. Plus I asked her how much is a keratin treatment (just to see what she was gonna say), she tells me 40$ extra n I’m like???!!!!! But you just said a keratin press is 45$. It’s like no matter what she wanted me to pay extra because of my texture! She cut my hair to my shoulders and it was at my bra strap, then when she realized she messed up, she had the nerve to bump my ends… yall… I — . I get to the register to pay she then tells me it’s 90$ now because of the trim n I’m like “ma’am wtf”. I’m confused when all I had done was a wash, blow dry and straighten with no treatment then my hair didn’t even last 10 minutes! Soon as I stepped foot in my car, it was poofy! This was NOTTT my first silk press nor first time coming here! I ask for my money back and all she gave me was 20$ and blamed it on me not wanting keratin in my hair when like I said, I hate to pull the race card but black folk do not use that anyways and can get it straight without a problem and if she couldn’t do it w out it, she could have just sent me away. She told me how I used up all of her lights and electricity as if that’s my problem and claimed she couldn’t give me my money back. This lady didn’t recognize me obviously and thought I was a new customer. I will never spend another penny here. Anybody reading this SHOULDNT EITHER. Especially if you are BLACK. They are PREJUDICE. You guys take advantage of people and overcharge for textures you know you cannot handle. I was okay w the 65$, but 90$? My hair didn’t last 10 minutes, I didn’t get a treatment, and they have NEVER charged me for a trim. The stylist just felt entitled to my money because she actually had to work hard, I know she’s not charging her people that much for a blowout either cuz I called over the phone also and she told me 45$ max (cuz Ik she like to do that upcharge mess) Never again. Don’t waste your money w these hating a** thieves!!!! They do not like to see blk women with good hair!

This is by far THE best hair salon ever!!! My hair was so damaged before I came here…and the owner Sirlene (aka…the hair doctor) made it her mission to make my hair healthy and beautiful. Well, mission accomplished! I “always” get compliments on my hair and people actually stop me to ask me where I get it done ( I carry her business cards with me to hand out when that happens!)! I will never, ever go anywhere else. Love the owners and her staff…they are all amazing! This is THE place for gorgeous hair!

Very unprofessional and disrespectful!! One of the owners after I’m done with the treatment that I did five times before in the last three years, decided that price should be 250$ And 230$ after the discount instead of 100$. She didn’t even tell me about any price change before. After I’m done she told me about the price huge change. When I asked why she didn’t tell me before, she said she didn’t want to make me unhappy!!! And said they need to renovate the place!! I told her that’s not what we agreed to pay, she yelled at me infront of everyone and said I should pay and go. Her sister ( the other owner) apologized but the one who yelled never did. I payed what they wanted because I just needed to be out of that horrible place. Also, because many of the employees who work there or answer the phone doesn’t speak English, they missed up my appointments many times. I will never be back to a place like this and don’t recommend it for anyone!
