I would urge anyone with curly hair not to go here. Although the stylist, Lisa, is professional, my haircut was absolutely terrible. It was my first time at the salon and I was in and out in less than 30min (consultation/wash/cut/dry). My actual cut was about 7 min. The cut is lopsided and I can’t style my hair at all. I am waiting for it to grow out so I can go see someone else. Curly haired friends, go elsewhere!

I had an incredible experience here with Lisa. As soon as I walked through the door she made me feel very welcome, which i was so thankful for considering i am a very anxious person. I love that when you go in you first talk about what your goal is, what style are you trying to go for so you can formulate a plan together. Not once did I feel like I was being told that I should do my hair this way or that way. She asked me if I was ok with what she was doing several times during the visit to make sure I liked what was being done to my hair. Lisa is very considerate of you, your hair, and your hair goals and she truely listens to what you have to say and she is INCREDIBLE at what she does. All of these reasons is why I will not only be coming back, but Brava is the only place I will go. Thank you Lisa!

Lisa is great and does her services well and I would love to continue to go their but her prices are over the top. I have a pixie haircut and I am fully platinum . My first visit was $150. I was fine with that due to it was my first visit even though I was already platinum my roots were grown out slightly & my pixie needed to be trimmed up but ok, $150. 6 weeks later went back for root touch-up and pixie trim, was charged $150 + tip again . I paid it and left. I called again to make another appointment 6 weeks later and I expressed my concern on spending $150. I thought if I just ask since I come every 6 weeks for maintenance, if the price would ever go down. Shot down immediately by receptionist saying those fees are basic and everyone charges that amount. Now I’m 44 yrs old and I’ve been getting my hair done for decades. I’m no fool to salon fees. But lately money is tight for everyone and her sassy comment and tone with me just was not what I was looking for. So be aware. I found another stylist that does the same job maybe better for $50 less than what Brava was charging me, so I was able to tip her well. My thing is if you want to keep your client base, listen to them. I’m fine with them telling me “no”, it was the way she said it.

Lisa exceeded my expectations, by far!!! She did an amazing job. She listened to exactly what I wanted and any concerns I had. As someone who has had nightmarish hair salon experiences, she made me feel completely comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone. She did a wonderful job, and I absolutely love my hair. I will definitely be going back to Brava from now on!
