Immediately after booking I received a confirmation email. Today I showed up for my appointment and the stylist was there waiting, I didn’t have to wait on her. She was very nice and professional even while handling other responsibilities including: attending to others who walked in with appointments, walk-in’s, questions, she even took phone calls. But again, she did all of this while remaining professional.I took a chance on this shop as I’d never been, wasn’t referred and haven’t had braids in YEARS. I just wanted braids for my beach vacation…but I’ll be going back! I love my hair (waist-length medium knotless). My braids are not too tight and are exactly what I wanted. I added a picture of my roots, very neat in my opinion.I also loved hearing all the ladies laugh and sing the whole time, they have fun while working and it makes for a good client experience. I made a reservation in advance online and paid the deposit fee, which goes toward the service, the website was very simple and clear. Immediately after booking I received a confirmation email. Today I showed up for my appointment and the stylist was there waiting, I didn’t have to wait on her. 5 stars for online booking and overall space and cleanliness of shop. 3 stars for my stylist Betty. Betty was very friendly and easy to speak with. Unfortunately, the next day 2 of my twist unraveled and 1 of the twist began to slip out (see photo). I wish I could have come back to the shop to let Betty fix them but I live almost an hour away so I just tried to blend them in the best I could. After 6 weeks I finally decided to just take them all out. It is so important that each braid is properly tied the first time because Braiding is competitive and expensive. Attention to detail is very important to maintain high ratings and repeat customers.

At one point this was indeed my favorite salon. The regular staff is friendly and skilful. However, lately my experience has declined. On my last visit someone twisted my hair and it was huge sections of hair in the back and tiny sections in the front, not what I wanted AT ALL. I had an appointment scheduled, and due to NO fault of my own my appointment was canceled. THEN KADI ATTEMPTED TO POCKET MY DEPOSIT WITHOUT RENDERING A SERVICE. BEWARE!

I booked an appointment online on Thursday and was seen on Saturday (quick turnaround). It was my first time visiting this shop and the staff are so professional and sweet. They are like one big family!! As I waited for my appointment to start, I watched women leaving after their service and they all looked GREAT!! I feel like you could get anyone of these stylists and they are all equally experienced. My hair is thin and I have some trouble spots in the top, but Arianna gave me a style that hid by troubled areas and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Arianna for a Fantastic job!! I will definitely be returning.

I just got my hair done here by Rose. I got Crochet Goddess Braids. I didn’t realize just how badly tangled my natural hair was when I arrived . Rose took the time to detangle and blow-dry ALL of my hair (I have A LOT of hair) so it was extra work for her, but she did it anyway. I’m sooooo grateful!! Now my hair will be nice for my birthday . I will definitely be returning…no question! Thank you
