Joy’s work is outstanding and really speaks for itself. I have been getting braids done since forever and I have never had so many compliments since coming to Joy. Her work is neat, fast, and flawless. Joy’s professionalism and mannerism is really what keeps me coming back! We all know the headache that can come from braiders/hairstylist but I don’t get any of that from Joy. It’s the complete opposite experience. She communicates well and really makes me feel comfortable and at ease. Joy is so pleasant and her shop is CLEAN! Smells good and truly spotless. She is truly a gem and so happy I found her. Her prices are more than reasonable. I have referred countless people to her. She has a continued client in me and I appreciate her great work and even better customer service skills. BOOK HER! I discovered Ms. Joy through StyleSeat a few months ago, and I am so glad I did. Ms. Joy is in a class of her own when it comes to her professionalism, skill, technique, and care! Not only does she offer outstanding braiding services, she braids in a way that protects your scalp and edges! The hair oil (that she also sells!!) soothes and hydrates my scalp after a braiding session. I love every visit that I make to Ms. Joy’s salon! I’ve been seeing her consistently for the past 6 months and each visit is excellent. She even sends emails out post-appointment on how to take care of your hairstyle! Out-of-this-world service.
