A simple braid down with my own hair took 2 hours. The owner (Franche) charged me $55. I just this same style done a few months ago & I only paid $35. I guess she makes the prices up as she goes. Highly disappointed!!! Braids

I called yesterday in need of a last minute appointment and they made it happen for me! The receptionist told me to come on over! I walked in at around 5:30p the braider took me right in (IMMEDIATELY) while her English was not the best she had really good customer service! I picked the size of my knotless, colors of my hair and she got busy! Before I knew it 3 people were braiding my hair at once! They took my last minute appt and low key panic and turned it all around for the better!! I was in and out in 4 1/2 hours and I Love My hair!! Thank you ladies so much

They did a good job. It was a last minute braid down. And she came through. Be sure to have a picture of what you want don’t if you don’t speak their language, it helps the process go smoothly. Price was a little more than I expected but nothing drastic. I will go back.

Should be a 3.5. I had my hair styled in goddess braids. While the website says that goddess braids start at $30, I paid $70 for 6 braids, basic pattern. I’m not sure how they decide on the cost of the braids, but that jump in price certainly left a sour taste in my mouth. I accepted the price though and got the style. My braider was Elore, and she did a good enough job. I have natural hair that I detangled and had sectioned off, but I could tell that she wasn’t comfortable with natural hair. She blow dried my hair to “straighten” it, and she didn’t use any gel or products to tame my edges because she said it wouldn’t work…dah well. My braids are fine. I just don’t see myself returning unless I am in a bind.

I was visiting relatives and wanted my hair braided. I showed the lady a pic of what I wanted. I have been getting Goddess Braids on and off for over 17 years and I went in requesting them. The lady that appeared to be in charge asked if I wanted corn rows instead. I politely told her “No.” She touched my hair and said your hair is to fine and soft for GB. I explained how long I’d been getting them and that my hair never posed an issue with getting them over the years. She proceeded. After blowing my hair out and completing the first braid, I was not impressed. She completed 5 Goddess Braids and at the end said, “Your hair kept curling up. So, I did NOT put anything on it as I was braiding it.” At that time she put a little gel and spritz in a few places in the front. This was the most AMATEURIST and hideous looking mess. Never in my braiding years had I seen this defecatingly level of work from a so called professional braider. This looked as if some young girl learnig to braid had done the work. I was floored/flabbergasted. I looked in the mirror and was livid. The braids looked like I’d had them in my head about two weeks and I had “Literally” just gotten them. The work was medicore and the braiding was below sub-par. I will never return to this establishment again. If you can’t complete a specific style, don’t try to get the customer to get what you only know how to do. Instead, be honest and say you can’t do certain styles or you don’t know how to braid on certain types of hair, etc. Stop taking people’s $ and giving them trash. Be honest and have some integrity and pride about what you’re putting out. I was not pleased at all. Wasted $60 on 5 Goddess Braids and what I received was barely worth $25.00 . Do better!!
