I’ve been here about 4 times and they’ve always done a great job. However, their attitudes are not the greatest. Today I asked if i could have another person work on my hair and she rudely told me “there is nobody available”. Luckily, I am a patient person and will just ignore their attitudes because they do very well on my head. But I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to take it.

No point to make an appointment because it isn’t honored, nor does anyone know the pricing to anything I’m a little confused I called the day before requesting Rita and she agreed to come in for me at 7am and I asked how long would me service be and I was told 6 hours which would be 7am-1pm. Rita braided my hair down plus a lot of the ends with little to no help.. The person who was assisting her stopped to help someone else which was no big deal for me I know that’s how it work but after a while Rita had to go and called the person back over she braided my ends for about 10min until she went back to help someone else, she didn’t let me know or anything and she had been helping someone else for about 25min.. A young lady finally walked in and was told to braid my ends and I asked her to tell the original person who was helping Rita that I had to go by 1:30pm because I was told it would only take 6 hours so I planned my work schedule around that giving myself a extra 30min just in case, The woman rudely told me that that isn’t how it work and I have to wait even though I was told I’ll be here for 6 hours yesterday I have sit and wait while someone else who came after me is being serviced.. I’m very disappointed I’ve heard great things but unfortunately I will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend anyone else here.

Daughter got small/medium knotless braids. I messaged them for an appointment when I got there the day of, my daughter was immediately seated. Two women completed her hair in less than 3 hours. The shop was nice. The people were cordial. I had a laptop with me and the owner gave me a stool to set it on. The floor could have been swept more but it was a very busy day so I wouldn’t hold that against them. It would be nice if they could take PayPal. CashApp or Zelle. It was very expensive and I don’t like walking around with $230 in cash. I can’t see me paying that much again but that’s because I’m cheap.

My 17 year old daughter was told over the phone that jumbo knotless braids were $180 but when she paid they charged her $250. She needed to call me for extra money. Gave my daughter some jacked up so called French Braids that were more like jacked up Cornrows. Went back to get a refund they redid them over even worst knowing she needed her hair done for an event. Even pulled out some of her hair. The bathroom was not clean or completely functional to be honest the shop was not the cleanest and the hair dressers were rude and hostile including the Manager. They did not do what we wanted done to her hair even when we showed them pictures and they agreed to do it, it was still a mess. They refused to give a refund they said she can come back and get it do another day yeah right she does not want you in her hair. I should be suing you. I do hair but I wanted a break so I took her out. So I see their mistakes clearly I will take my money elsewhere. I do not recommend. I will not go back.

I booked an appointment for April 17th @ 11a with Lexy. She confirmed my appointment 3 times by email and text.This was my first time trying braids, I wanted to get them because I was going out of town. However when I walked into the shop they were very rude. Everyone just stared at me no one spoke. I told them I had an appointment with Lexy they said have a seat and started speaking in there language so I couldn’t understand. While waiting a text came to my phone from Lexy saying my appointment had been changed to 2p. Definitely unprofessional, if I had changed or canceled my appointment last minute I would have been charged a fee. For a first time client it was bad business. Then it wouldn’t let me cancel the appointment, I text her and she was non remorseful, needless to say it’s a NO for me. I will not return. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to any of you.

I have been here two previous times. The first time, no issues. The second time, my braider was 45 minutes late but a discount was given to me. This third time though…. The women who did my hair spent more time on their phones, cracking jokes, and eating, than they did my hair. They would eat and then try to put their hands back on my hair. The quality of the braids is good. The pricing is okay. But the customer service is absolutely not there. It was so poor. I’ll be looking for a new braiding salon, unfortunately. UPDATE: Mercy reached out to me and wound up doing a great job on my next set of braids. She also apologized for the previous stylist. I recommend Mercy and the young woman who worked with her. They were professional. I added two stars to my 1 star review for this resolution.

I scheduled a same day appointment online. I scheduled at 2:30 pm for a 4:30 slot. I was greeted immediately when I walked in even though all the braiders were working. I was only waiting for about 10 minutes before I was told to sit in the chair. Rita did my hair and she was very fast and efficient even though I could tell she might have been in some pain. I watched all these ladies assisting clients back to back with no complaints….I will definitely be back. Thank you ladies!!!
