I had planned to get my haircut while I was on vacation in South Lake Tahoe. According to reviews this was the place to get it done at. I’ll tell you what, for me it was worth the 2000+ mile trip. She was excellent, friendly and priced very well. You will not be disappointed by her skill to give you a great cut.

In town for vacation. Had a big meeting 8am Monday morning in SF. Had to be squared away before the meeting. As a former Marine, I like to wear my hair short. Mostly because I’m bald on top. Options are limited. Showed up at 9:45. Boyd took me right away. Got the exact, professional cut that I wanted. Even used a straight razor (disappearing talent) on the back. Fast, excellent job. If I lived here I would be in every week. Clean, pro barber shop. I love this place. Call me old school but they are just so hard to find. Boyd’s in South Lake is a real gem for those of use who enjoy and appreciate a real barber shop.
