I gave 2 stars because the owner accommodated a last minute appointment, but I am very disappointed with how much I paid for the actual service. I paid $10 more for the fur nails #20 and when I mentioned that it did not look like the display, he said “you can’t see it?” So I thought it must have been the lighting or my poor vision. When I got home and really looked at my nails, it was not a very clean job. To make matters worse, my nails already lifted after a few days and chipped in less than a week, which has not happened to me from any salon for a gel fill. I called to get them fixed and although he said to come in to get them fixed, I don’t want to receive the same service.

Last year I went to this salon for the first time. I haven’t been back after that. The owner was removing my gel polish with an E-file with the setting on way too high. It burned my nails so bad. He then moved on to my cuticles. He made my cuticles bleed. You can tell he was panicking inside. He then took a dirty tissue that had powder on it and put it on where it was bleeding. After he tried to get my friend to get her nails done.

Came to Boutique as a new client due to the good reviews and close location to my home. My first sign that it probably wasn’t going to be good was that there was only 1 client in the salon when I arrived….on a Thursday at 4pm……

Love coming here with my daughter. We’re always happy! Gigi gives the BEST pedicure!!! Normally I get neutral colors or a French manicure. Went yesterday to get my nails done for Easter and a cruise and pretty much said “surprise me”. They did not disappoint. They’re bright, fun, and artfully done!

This nail salon is one of the worst nail salons that I have ever been to in Howell. The owner Johnny is a narcissistic person. He hired undocumented people without a license and no experience working for him. Not only he never cleans the working area, but the pedicure area is horrible. The nails from previous customers are all over the floor, there is no disinfectant solution or barbicide jar to disinfect the manicure equipments anywhere. My nails were cut and filed by him several times when he did my nails, which turning into bleeding and I was in so much pains after. He also tried to offer to do brazillian wax for me. What a creep! Needless to say I would never come back there, and highly recommend you to avoid this salon at all costs. Don’t waste your money and time coming there. You could get an infection from the tools, let alone get overcharged for their services and fees

Moved to Howell in 2020 and have been struggling to find a new nail salon. Today, that search came to an end when I found Johnny at Boutique Nails. Attention to detail is top tier, very hospitable and so many color options to choose from! Looking forward to coming back in 3 weeks Acrylic nails

Johnny always does an amazing job doing my nails. I have gone twice since my sister recommended him to me and we are both super happy and will be long time customers. Amazing customer service, great conservations, and he does a really great job making nails neat and perfect. He also gives awesome hand massages. I will always recommend this place to anyone who asks, its a really great experience, definitely the best place to get your nails done.

Worst experience ever!!! Seriously, the 4.6 rating is a scam, I went there because of a stupid mistake, they only have one harsh filer that they can’t even use, the place is messy and the staff is unprofessional, he messed up my nail and injured my finger as well.

I rarely get my nails done and decided to go for it before the holidays this year. I researched places in Howell and this one had great reviews – they were all true! The owner John is very sweet and welcoming and also patient 🙂 Gigi did a fantastic job on my pedicure. I will definitely go back. Recommend 100%
