I love Bukky! She always have done my braids just the way I wanted. They were never too tight and always looked beautiful. I highly recommend her for hair braiding. She does weaves too. I watched one time and it came out beautiful as well. Thank you always Bukky.

This place is a waste of money and they overcharge!They told me I had to pay for the hair jam they used like what ? The braids are propped up and I don’t even like my hair. I have gotten my hair crochet for over 10 years. I have had different types of crochet and the style I got today over the past year has been the same. I asked the first girl who was cornrowing my hair for crochet to please not braid too tight at my nape because I didn’t want that pain that would last for over a week and any pulling of my hair on my nape. For that I give her a 5/5. She took her time, was gentle, and I had absolutely NO pain after she braided my hair. The owner who now came to put my crochet in, started yanking the crochet needle without and with the hair with all of her force, yanking my head and unknowingly to her, ripping my hair at my scalp. I told her to be gentle, and she told me that it was the crochet hair was too big. Fine, but at least be gentle and make it your priority to make the customer comfortable instead of tearing hair just to put simple crotchet. I left with my hair (although the style was nice) in 10/10 pain, which I have never felt in my 10 years of having crochet. I don’t know if they braided the hair too small or she didn’t take her time to put the crochet needle in and out but I immediately went home to take 2 Tylenol and take a nap for the first time because of the trauma to my scalp. I am also not tender headed, especially when I was able to sit there for 30 minutes realizing she was heavy handed and took the pain for a braided crochet. I will not be coming back here again, and I only came because I normally get my crochet at another Staten island hair shop and they were full (and I have never left there in pain). I will not be coming back and think twice if you are tender headed or like to be at comfortable after getting your hair done. It looks like she was in a rush to get to other customers and that’s why she didn’t care. In addition, they did not use edge control or finishing sheen/spray on my hair…I just don’t think they are the best for this style.

The appointment given was on time service, the staff was pleasant and courteous, and the service was GREAT! I happy to be able to walk here and this is my new beautician. I failed to get her name but she did AN AMAZING JOB ON MY HAIR!!! I love it, I couldn’t be more happier and the customers there was beautifully awesome. I will be going back and hopefully the woman from Texas will be there. Amazing company and amazing people, a bit too over priced but Thank you for your amazing service in this pandemic. P.S. Bousso is very pleasant and her energy is amazing, this is why I was comfortable with her doing my hair. I’ve had some horrible experiences with hair braiding in the past. She is very easy going and does not braid too tight but yet my style was very neat & perfect. I will definitely patronize her business again. Great prices as well!!!

This place has horrible customer service took my boys to get their hair braided 2 small braids on top she charged me $30 for each and then to my surprise at the end because the product she was using finished she charged me for the gel used on their hair! Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI unfortunately had a horrific experience. As the stylist was twisting my hair extremely tight I asked her to please not do it tight. She continue to twist it tightly after I repeatedly ask her to stop. It was my first experience doing extensions.My scalp started swelling up, breaking open, almost bleeding and burning. I was in excruciating pain and had to take pain meds. After 2 days I had to take it out because of the immense pain. Some of my hair came out and I went back to the salon to get my money back and show the damage done.They DID NOT GIVE ME A PENNY BACK !
