I’ve been coming here for over a year and I’m always satisfied with my hair cut. Kristy does an awesome job and is super friendly. There is also free beer in the fridge!

I love that I can schedule an appointment and be in and out in 30 minutes unlike other barber shops that I have been to which took almost 2 hours to get a haircut! The prices are great considering the quality work that is done here and as an added bonus there’s free bottled beer and soda. This barber shop is clean and has an awesome nostalgic feel to it! I’ve been going to Azaleah at this barber shop for over a year now and I couldn’t recommend anywhere else to go but Boulevard Barber and Shave. I love that I can schedule an appointment and be in and out in 30 minutes unlike other barber shops that I have been to which took almost 2 hours to get a haircut! Great place for a fast friendly walk-in haircut. Mary is so friendly and lots of experience. Open it seems all the time. I like to go Sunday & Tuesday’s when Mary is working. Not much parking but lots of street parking. There is a handicap spot right by the door and easy disabled entrance. Clean little shop great prices, walk in’s welcome. Close to downtown La Mesa. Check out!!!!

I love this shop, and Hanna does a great job with curly hair. I receive many compliments on my hairstyle. Yes, they cut women’s hair, too. The old-fashioned ambiance is a welcome change from the typical salon. I also appreciate the online appointment booking.

I plan to come here again. My 6-year old son got a great looking haircut at a good price. There were some kids books for my other son to read while waiting. The hair length was nicely preserved and cleaned up to be manageable. The barber was really friendly and accommodating and even had spare change for the meters. The shop gets booked up, so it’s best to make a reservation online.

This small hole in the wall barber shop is awesome! It’s definitely one of the best cuts you can get in the area and their prices are reasonable. It has a real classic barber shop feel, but it is really casual and You feel welcome as soon as you walk in. They even offer free drinks. If you are looking for a new place for a cut and a shave, I can recommend this one is 5 star quality.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis was a an awkward experience the staff was great except the person cutting the hair. She was rude and didn’t listen to anything the client wanted. She looked out of it and she was wearing sunglasses. I was shocked and I had to say something and then she started arguing with me. She didn’t even offer to put product on the clients hair, she also cut him on the back. She didn’t apologize she was stubborn and rude. I’m only writing this because I don’t want someone to go through this experience as well.
