I walked in to get my acrylic nails removed & Sora told me it was $15. Fast forward, it took them over 1 hour to remove my nails. The only wrap your nails in foil and put plastic gloves on them. Other salons that I’ve been to use a hot water soak to speed up the process. The girl who took over for Sora cut my skin with a nail file twice but she was really sweet. I go up to pay and hand her a $20 and telling her to keep the change. She proceeds to tell me that the service itself is $20 and I tell her that I was told by Sora that it was $15 and Sora comes out and says it’s $25. She proceeds to tell me that she finished a manicure & pedicure by the time it took for my nails to come off. Excuse me, but how is that my fault that it took longer for you guys to take off my nails? They probably have some weak acetone and don’t even use the proper procedure to take them off. I ended up paying only $20 but they’ve officially lost my business & they left my nails looking really bad (they didn’t put any oil or anything to help).

The place is clean, they accommodated me right away even though I do not have an appointment scheduled.

I paid $70 for acrylic nails that are already coming off 2 days later, peeling up from the cuticles. They’re way too thick, not cleaned up at all with dried acrylic stuck under my nails. The tech also cut my nails super short just to add fake tips for the acrylic? My nails were long enough to lay it over my real nails and I didn’t want her to cut my nails at all.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueAs I’m sitting here I’m writing this review. The place is clean…but my service was rushed because of appointments and more important clientele.SORA did my pedicure, I was charged $5 more for OPI nail polish because it takes longer to dry.. alright fine i guess. (Even though I’m not doing gel or anything)My pedicure was no longer than 15 mins as she sped through the process, I did not get any dead skin taken off my feet, she took 2 seconds to massage and “polish” the feet and theneft parafin wax all over My feet before running off.Bummer I won’t be back. But Joyce was amazing and good to My momService: PedicureAs I’m sitting here I’m writing this review. I needed a nail day this week…. I am 38 weeks pregnant and my poor toe nails needed a trim. I also had a broken thumb nail from a battle lost to a cheese slicer. My technician at Botti was wonderful and treated me like I was gold. She fixed my nail and made my feet look beautiful again! She also helped get my incredibly swollen feet back into my shoes.

This is my second visit. I came here on my first visit to Lake Forest because they were the only shop I could find that would do a fill on acrylic nails. They did a great job. I was so impressed that I came back on my next visit for a pedicure and a manicure.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValuePoor quality, feel like the tech don’t really care if the nails look good or not, tried this place 4 times with 3 different techs working on my nails and the nails look equally bad each time. And my nails kept popping off n breaking within 24hrs not worth 80$ ..I recommend management to get techs that are qualified n trained in doing acrylic nails and nail art.The regular pedicure and manicure are okay.Services: Acrylic nails, Gel manicures, Nail art, Dip powderPoor quality, feel like the tech don’t really care if the nails look good or not, tried this place 4 times with 3 different techs working on my nails and the nails look equally bad each time. This salon is the best salon in this area. I was amazed at how efficient my manicurist was while giving 6/5 star service. My gel mani looks amazing for my birthday dinner tonight. The experience was very pleasant from my call to make an appointment to paying at the end. The salon has so many color options and is very organized and clean. You can tell that they pay a lot of attention to detail from the overall layout down to the announcements on the manicure wall. Highly recommend!

They absolutely overbooked the entire salon. It took me 1 1/2 hours to have a soak off and basic manicure. After the soak off (done in the waiting chairs) I waited 1 hour to be seated to do my manicure and there were 5 other people in the salon waiting after me for just as long. My friends were all done and had to wait an additional hour for my nails to get done. The worst manicure I have ever had. Half of the manicure was done in the waiting chairs and mid way I got moved over to a tech who rushed through the entire process. I’m taking the polish off the second I get home as it was done so badly. Smudged everywhere and done very messily, not covering the nails and done messily over my cuticles. I told the nail tech to do my nails round and all the same length and even after correcting multiple times they are still uneven and different shapes (they had plenty of nail to work with). Worst $25 I have ever spent do NOT go here.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI Just Took My Girlfriend Here For The First Time Today And It Was Terrible. First Off, They Are Overpriced And Charge Extra To Take Off A No Chip To Put Another One On When Thats Included In The Service. Then When They Did Her Pedicure, The Polish Is Bumpy And A Little Streaky On Her Toes. When The Lady Started To Do Her Fingernails They Didn’t Even Have The Right Tools. They Are Using Household Products For A Professional Job And Thats Not Right. When She Was Removing The Gel Polish She Said It Was Really Thick, When It Wasn’t She Just Didn’t Have The Right Tool. Then When Shaping The Nail, She Used A FINGERNAIL CLIPPER, Which Led To My Gf Having Multiple Cracked Nails And A Few Crooked Ones. All Very Noticeable. Then Proceeded To Ask If She Liked The Shape But How Are We Supposed To Tell With A Crooked Nail?? And Then Told Her That Thats Going To Be The Shape After She Filled Them. No, Its Not. You’re Supposed To Shape Them With The Right Tools, Fill Them, Then Shape Them Again To Get The Shape The Customer Would Like. This Place Is Completely Ridiculous And Bad And I Do Not Understand How They Have 4 Stars This Is Bad Service All Around. Now She Has To Soak Off Herself And Get A New Set From A Different Place Which Shouldn’t Have Been A Thing. But At Least It Won’t Be Overly Expensive.Services: Acrylic nails, Pedicure, ManicureI Just Took My Girlfriend Here For The First Time Today And It Was Terrible.
