This place is still trying to make customers wear masks…. even though they scientifically and logically do not accomplish anything and the mandates have been dropped. Besides the fact that they charge ridiculously high prices for their “high pressure” bed and then are only open a couple days a week for short periods of time. They don’t give you much opportunity to use your monthly packages (which are limited to the number of tans you can get per month). I used to go to an amazing tanning salon in Spokane that had multiple high pressure beds, you could get a $70/ month unlimited tanning package. I think if this tanning salon opened their doors more and lowered the prices a bit, or offered unlimited monthly packages they would do really well….and allowed people their freedoms (to choose to wear a mask or not).

I called and asked about tanning packages and pricing. When she was explaining the prices and packages she started mumbling so I told her that I could not understand her please repeat. I was told to go to the internet and check, it sounded like she was getting irritated. I was driving so I asked her how much the stand up Tanner was and she told me $6.00 I said okay and made an appointment. When I arrived she told me it was $10.00 and I told her you told me $6.00 and she told me my prices are my prices and it is $10.00. Then she told me I had to buy a $4.00 pair of goggles in order to tan. I am just tired of people being rude and dishonest. I called Sunrise Tan they were very nice and much cheaper with better equipment. BoTanica You are. Fired!!!

Such a disappointing experience at this salon. Nevermind the fact that I’ve been tanning in salons and have managed several of them over the past 12 years, knowing what I wanted when I walked in my tanning goals and desires were completely disregarded, everything I said was challenged and argued about, followed by an overpriced tan in a bed that has 11 (YES, ELEVEN!!!) bulbs out… One of the panels literally has 4 burnt out bulbs in the section. When I told Michelle (the gal working) about this issue she supplied me excuses and nothing to rectify the complaints I made, acting as if I was wrong.

Tanning beds are always really clean. Michelle is welcoming and flexible with last minute schedule changes. There’s a good selection of products and it’s easy to get an appointment. Best place in Sandpoint!
