If you live in the St. Louis area and are considering hair restoration do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation with Kory….you’ll be glad you did ! Kory was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She explained all available options to me and scheduled my procedure with Dr. Parungao at the Chicago office. Having read Dr. P’s bio and the many positive reviews about the Chicago office, I was looking forward to meeting him and moving forward with my procedure. I was totally impressed from the moment I arrived. Dr P and the team of six that took care of me during my procedure were totally awesome from start to finish – each and every one a consummate professional. I left the office totally impressed and amazed at their knowledge, experience and total commitment to ensuring a positive outcome with my procedure. I started my hair restoration journey with a visit to Bosley in Clayton, MO. I worked with Kory who was a fantastic consultant. She went over all of the potential options I had for hair restoration and also walked me through the sites I could go to for treatments. After that I felt confident to visit Dr Parungao in Chicago and was absolutely blown away by the results! The staff was super friendly. I got my procedure done 11/2/2019. I was first told 6-12 months to see full results. Now I was told about 18 months. Ive been using minoxidil, and thickening shampoo. But the results so far have been less than sub par. Be cautious when getting this done. I was told I’d need 1200-1500 grafts to get the results i would have liked. I think I got somewhere along 1800. And it does not look good. I feel like I have to wear a hat everywhere. Definitely not worth the $7k+.

I debated for five years whether or not to do something about my thinning hair. On a whim, I made an appointment and met Kory, and she quickly brought me up to speed on all of my options. I left after my consultation feeling like a true expert with a clear path on how to fix my hair. I ended up doing a FUE hair transplant and am thrilled with the results. My advice is to go in now and learn about it, because it’s much easier and cheaper to maintain what you have now than to lose it and have to get a larger operation.
