This barbershop is awesome. You just can’t beat the oldschool feel of this place. If you need a sharp cut, look no further. Mike gives the cleanest haircut I have ever had. I drive from the far side of chapel hill because he is just that good. He really takes pride and craft in his job, even kept the store open late for us. I recommend him to my friends all the time and he never disappoints.

Mike and Shane give great haircuts. They charge a flat 15 and I like to give them a 5 dollar tip. Either guy gives me a great haircut every time ! They are basically on Churton beside the Dog House and on the end of the building closest to the Duke Health building that has Duke Internal Med and Urgent Care. Just drop in and get a hair cut at this traditional men’s barbershop!

This was my first experience going to a barber. Since I was a teenager, I’ve always gone to a chain. Shane cut my hair today at the Boone Barber Shop. I was recommended to the shop by a family member and was not disappointed. The guys a both professional and skilled. They take their time and do not rush the haircut, like many other places do. The experience was a process; to me that was the best part. The waiting room had filled up while I was there, which is a fantastic sign—they have a following! There was a good mix in age diversity, too, so they can handle the “in trend” cuts the youngins want, or even the more traditional cuts. I’ll definitely be going back! Highly recommend them.

Hands down the best barbershop in the area. I drive from Durham to get my haircut here. While getting my haircut the barber took his time and made sure my haircut turned out exactly how I wanted. The best part was the straight razor neck shave. Also they did an excellent job on my beard as well! Great attention to detail !

Had my son’s hair done there today, loved it. Mike was very talented and my son & I were both happy with the cut. Very nice atmosphere as well. Employees and customers alike were happy to chat. I will be bringing my son back for the next cut.

I followed Shane here after the closing of the Duke Barbershop. I have always gotten a great haircut from Shane. I particularly really like that he offers the straight razor edging. The shop has an old timeh feel and folks are so friendly.
