I LOVE MEGAN!! I’ve been to multiple people for my eyelashes to and she has done the best and continues to amaze me with how fast she is and how easy it is to make an appointment! I see Megan every two weeks for a fill and it’s always under 30 minutes! HIGHLY recommend!!

Incredibly sad to be leaving this review as Megan was one of my original lash techs and I used to swear by her. My last visit was nothing less than unpleasant. Megan didn’t even take the time to tape my eyes up. Only adding the under eye piece….I didn’t say anything cause Ive trusted her. She only took an hour on a volume lash set, any lash tech ive gone to, and everything I’ve read online says industry standard is no less than two hours no matter how long you’ve been doing it. I was weary with how fast they were done but because of my trust in Megan I said nothing.No less than 24 hours later the lashes in my right eye were 90% gone and my eye wouldnt stop watering. This was my Christmas treat to myself since $200 is a lot of money for me right now while I pay off my bills for chemotherapy. Megan has refused to fix the issue she also has refused to even do a partial refund and has said that she’s the fastest tech in the area cause she’s been doing it the longest. However my lash tech who has been doing this for 15 years Says that someone finishing a set in an hour is a huge red flag. Go anywhere else but here if you want to be treated like a human when you have an issue. When I told Megan that my older lash tech said that it was done improperly she told me to go back to her if that’s how I feel. Saying that other lash techs have said this has been an issue with me… funny because it’s only been an issue with one other tech and it was completely different than what I’m experiencing now.

I hate that I am having to do this but unfortunately, feel as though I have to. I saw Megan for the hyaluron lip filler a month ago. My initial experience with her was great, she was very friendly and I left happy. A month later, I am really struggling with the results of the pen. I still have very prominent lumps and my bottom lip is misshapen. I reached out to Megan in regards to this, what I was experiencing and what we could do to fix this. I expressed that I was doing the after care exactly as she suggested but I was very uncomfortable with the current state of my lips. Our conversation was very much so back and forth and I felt as though she just kept fighting me on everything I was saying. The only solution she provided was, she suggested I massage with a little more pressure and she would provide more filler for $59. I did not feel comfortable receiving more filler considering how awful my results were already and told her I felt it necessary to receive medical treatment at this point in which she encouraged and even suggested I go to Boone Dermatology to get the filler dissolved. I then asked for a refund, since now I am having to pay for medical treatment to get this fixed, she refused and said there is nothing else she can do for me. By the end of the conversation she said I should have researched better and she was sorry I felt the way I did. I signed a consent form because I trusted her, as the professional, but being in the same industry I am actually baffled at how this was handled. Regardless if there is a consent form signed or not, it has now turned into a medical issue. I am not here to deter people from going to Boone Beauty Bar, but to deter people from getting the lip filler she is offering. After doing some research, this is something medical professionals are pushing people to steer away from and this experience has shown me why. I truly hope everyone else has a better experience but if you are unhappy with your service and ask for a refund, she absolutely will not accommodate and unfortunately, I know others who have had a similar experience.

I initially went for hybrid lashes, which turned out beautifully, but volume lashes are my favorite by far! Megan listened to how I wanted my lashes to look and they turned out amazing. Would highly recommend, Megan is the best <3
