Unconventional and a bit off the grid barber shop. Reasonable prices, established little business with an older clientele served for many years. Generally a wait and seems to have a high turnover of barbers. The owner is a constant and she does a good job. Terrible parking situation, but plenty of parking in nearby businesses. Easy street access. Will return for basic haircut.

Although you can get a fade, a pompadour, or a buzz cut, the Bonita Barber Shop is more a place your father or grandfather might go. Good cuts, thoughtfully done, at a great price is the specialty here. No fancy stylists, just hard working barbers. Just the kind of place there aren’t enough of.

This place was pretty good up until my fiancé’s last visit yesterday afternoon. He sat with a new guy that’s cutting hair there. The guy proceeded to grab his forehead to pull him back multiple times, cut his forehead with the razor, made inappropriate comments, and didn’t listen to his request because “he wouldn’t look good with long hair”. Sit with anyone but the guy, we didn’t get his name. We won’t be coming back.
