Very stingy with the polish. Presented me only two nail color rings but when someone else came in they went around everywhere gathering her every color they could. They put as few coats of paint as possible. I just KNEW they were going to have low prices. Nope high and very eager to show those Venmo codes for a tip. I went along with tipping but I’m unsatisfied and won’t be back.

This was by far the worst nail work I have ever had done. The staff was perfectly lovely but the woman who helped me was clearly in a bad mood. She cut my cuticles and caused me to bleed on almost all of my fingers, it was extremely painful. She did a terrible uneven job of applying dip powder, was unable to shape nails in an almond shape, and said she could do a design I requested that she clearly could not. There was a lot of blood as she aggressively cut my cuticles. I am non-confrontational and was uncomfortable asking her to stop, which I should have. What a MASSIVE waste of $85. I will never go back.

I had the best experience today the person did my nails was fast and good!!! I would totally come back and have them do my nails again with no non sense attitude. I was able get a Gel pedicure within 40 minutes and pick son up at orthodontist on time. I want thank so much for the best Service I have ever gotten for a pedicure. Pedicure

I usually never leave any negative comments but this was a very unpleasant experience. Overall terrible customer service. She hurt my nail 4 times and although I told her she didn’t stop at all. She blamed me for my complaint and started talking to her coworker in their language which was so rude and unprofessional. I had to leave without getting my nails done. Never ever going back again…

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueRUN FAR AWAY from this place. I came in to get a full acrylic set and pedicure for my wedding. This took 2 1/2 hours and they didn’t even have time to finish before I went to my wedding license appointment. This is also completely false advertising, it is no longer owned by bollinger and the new management is horrible. Place is not well kept and staff aren’t great at what they do. When I showed them a simple design I wanted they told me that they couldn’t do it because they only have one person to do design and she wasn’t available. Then I preselected a color I wanted and instead of telling me that that color wasn’t available, they proceeded to use a completely different ugly shade. The acrylic was also way too thick. And when I tried to say I shouldn’t have to pay for at least the acrylics they argued back. And I was so annoyed and was too late that I just let them and paid for the horrible job. I’m now going to have to pay to get them redone at a completely different place. Save yourself and do not give them your business.Services: Acrylic nails, PedicureRUN FAR AWAY from this place. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI have been going to Bolinger Nail Salon in Walnut Creek for 10 years. They closed during Covid and never reopened. So I started to go to the other Bolinger Nail Salons in my area. I went to Pleasant Hill store twice. It was good but not like the one in WC. Then i tried the San Ramon one, off of Crow Canyon. First time was very good. The second time I went was this Monday for a Mani and Pedi. They did a adequate job! The next evening I noticed three of my nails were already chipped. The next morning 2 more were chipped. I had a relaxing day on Tuesday and didn’t clean or even cook. I called in am and told them, that my nail polished chipped already after 24 hours. Tiffany the front desk person said that I would have to pay for another polish appt. I said, that’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t. I just had it done on Monday afternoon. I am a 10 year plus loyal customer at the Walnut Creek store. I told her, this has never happened before when I visited the WC store and the polish change should be for free. She finally agreed for me to come in today and get it changed without charge. When I arrived the front desk person was very accommodating and asked the woman who did my manicure to come out. She came out, and started to say that I should of gotten the gel polish. Regular polish doesn’t last more than one day. I couldn’t believe my ears. I had told her, maybe the polish was diluted with nail polish remover because it was getting low. I told her this has never happened to me at a nail salon before, chipped nails after 24 hours. She continued to argue with me, saying regular polish chips right away. I asked her if she could polish my nails with another color, and she did. Took her literally 5 minutes, and I thanked her for doing it. She got up left, and never apologized. Neither did Tiffany the receptionist. I am very reluctant to go back to Bolinger Nail Salons. I had my special manicurist for almost 10 years that always did a great job in WC and now the other salons aren’t up to par. My manicurist is not working anymore at any Bolinger Salon, otherwise I would follow her to another salon. Save your money and go somewhere else. I came in to the salon 1 and a half hour before closing time for a plain manicure. As soon as I walked into the salon all the workers just stared at me as if I was from outer space. The receptionist was nowhere to be seen. One of the the other workers had to go get her only for her to tell me that they didn’t have any space.

Regarding the owner’s sister, she works the front desk occasionally. She is more into herself then the customers, it seems, from what I have observed. She asked me twice “right off the bat” to put my feet into boiling water as soon as I was seated for a pedi. Shortly after, she spoke Vietnamese to the gal who was doing the pedicure. Regardless of the service, I am very generous with tipping. I personally find it very rude to speak another language in front of clients who pay to be treated and basically paying the lease and bills… NOT a fan, they just lost a generous client.
