It was my first time at Boho beauty Bar and my experience was nothing but exceptional. The salon was clean, the staff were so professional and best of all my results after leaving were absolutely AMAZING! I had an event that evening and Maria, did a phenomenal job styling my hair. I will definitely be returning and will be recommending to everyone I know!

Critical: ProfessionalismHonestly I was really excited to try this place. The staff seems really nice. They were super responsive on the phone and email. I called twice to confirm my appointment and paid a 50 percent deposit the night before. 8 minutes before my appointment — at which point I was 3 minutes away in a 30 dollar uber — they call and cancel. 8 minutes! I appreciate unexpected things happening with their tech and I don’t blame the nice girl on the phone telling me this but this put me in a terrible position. I wasted money on an uber and it’ll take days to refund me my deposit because its a holiday weekend. They offered to book my next service at a 50 percent discount but I have a wedding to go today and not in 3 weeks and I’m not likely to go back to a place that cancels on me while I’m outside waiting to go in . Also I still lost money on the uber and the time where i could’ve gone to get another appointment. I planned my whole day around this appointment. Its unbelievably frustrating. I could not be more disappointed. If I had canceled like this I would have lost my deposit. Not much in the way of consequences for them. I spent 60 bucks on a round trip uber and an hour in commuting to not get my lashes done.Giving 2 stars solely because the girls I spoke to were really nice and sympathetic. Tried whatever they could to fix the situation even though it wasn’t their fault. Ill say that my experience seems to be unique.Honestly I was really excited to try this place.
