Karina has been a delight to work with over the last 3+ years! A violinist by trade, my job is dependent on my body feeling well enough to keep up with the high stress of playing 3-6 hours per day. A well-organized and mindful person, Karina is always careful to ask me what my needs are before beginning each session and then focusing on those areas most. One thing that I am especially struck by is the thoughtfulness put into her studio–Karina makes sure you have the right music, keeps bottles of water and packages of nuts out and she always has a warm blanket there for you if you get cold. I appreciate the way that Karina uses a specific technique to weave stretching into each session as it helps my body to release tension. It is obvious from working with her on learning how to do home stretches, that she is continually educating herself on the art/science of massage therapy. Karina is professional, respectful and someone I would highly recommend for your massage therapy needs!
