I recently met Dr. Gibbons playing pickleball, a passion we both enjoy (she’s pretty good). She noticed that I often winced during play and took time to ask about the pain. I told her that I’d already been diagnosed by my occupational therapist at work with “tennis elbow”. She shared information about treatment options called Soft Wave available at her Body4U at Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, VA. She shared how the technology worked, gave me pamphlets, and sent me YouTube links. It took her several weeks of persistent conversations to convince me, but I subscribed to a three-pack Soft Wave treatment with her. The first treatment she gave me I was comfortable at level six. I was really impressed with the new facility she’s opened, her hard work to make this a top rate facility was obvious. On my second round several weeks later, I was able to tolerate level ten – a measurable improvement. My third and final treatment I’ve not yet scheduled with her, but I’m moving on from my improved tennis elbow to use this final round to work on increasing arthritis pain in my hands. I had tried calling to make an appointment for a message. No one ever answered the phone so I walked in to make the appointment. All I wanted was a message. Immediately, Leon tried selling softwave treatments at a grossly inflated rate. The more I said no, the harder he pushed. The message was rushed and mediocre. Will not return. They seem to be more interested making the big sale actually addressing the needs of their clientele.

After 9 months of therapy very disapointing results. Went to another chiropractor in Rocky Mount and pain free after 2 weeks. Also found that my Soft Wave Therapy, is more than half the cost then what Body4U charges. Highly recommend Trochim Family Chiropractic in Rocky Mount. Will bill your insurance and has in house x-rays.
