Chair Massage for Events Treat your employees, clients and guests! Chair Massage is performed while fully dressed and seated in a specially designed portable chair. It is especially effective in targeting shoulder, back and neck tension. Sessions are usually 10-30 minutes long. Please contact me to quote your event.
Pre-event Sports Massage for Swimmers Women only. If you are from out of town, please text me at (540) 384-1820 to book your appointment! I can sometimes be available on short notice, and am located less than 1 mile from the Christiansburg Aquatic Center! A brief invigorating massage on a heated table designed to settle the mind and reconnect with the body. I utilize techniques such as friction, compression, vibration/light percussion and ROM stretches to facilitate circulation and help prepare muscles for exertion.
Relaxation Massage Women only. A rhythmic style of bodywork with the focus on deep recuperative relaxation. I utilize hypo-allergenic lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help relieve pain and achiness, decrease stress levels in the body, enhance mental clarity, and increase physical flexibility, and elevate mood.
Therapeutic Massage Women only. Combines friction, compression, muscle-stripping, range-of-motion stretching, and other techniques, together with lotion containing arnica and other essential oils, to target and relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Therapeutic massage is highly effective for releasing areas of chronic stress due to misalignment, repetitive motion, and lingering old injuries.
