My favorite Shea butter – and I’ve gone through many brands. I also use her charcoal toothpaste and I recently bought the liquid black soap. I’ve seen black soap in a bar but I was curious to use the liquid kind. I also treat myself with their scrubs, recently I purchased the coffee body scrub. The Shea butter lotion is perfect for me, it’s not too greasy, not too hard or clumpy, it’s also not too whipped type of texture. I absolutely love the texture and I haven’t found anything even close to it. I’ve been purchasing this brand for 4 years and counting…and I still love it. ❤️ Also, ordering online is great because it arrives so fast!

I found The Butter lady at an event in California. The (Taste of soul) I tried a sample and I was hooked. My daughter and bought a few jars right there. When I ran out I looked for them on line. I was able to order there. Now the have an actual store front so we go right in and pickup some. The Shea Butter is amazing. I haven’t bought lotion out a store in at least 10 years or more. I’ve had different people I would buy from. I haven’t looked at any other product since I found Butter Lady. Plague and Pochouli are my favorite scents. Your skin will feel hydrated and smooth. You will fall in love with all the products. I’m in Texas and I’m getting on a flight to Los Angeles now. I will pickup a big order and bring it back. YES ITS THAT GOOD

I purchased my first Body Butter Lady products at the Melrose Flea because I like natural products and try to support local business, and let me say I was not disappointed! I got a container of body butter (“Mingle” scent is amazing!) and a bar of African Black Soap and they are excellent. Smell great, lovely texture and very moisturizing on the skin.

I bought some of the body butter and liquid black soap(mingle and cherry blossom) at the farmers market in Baldwin Hills and let me tell you I’m absolutely happy I did they smell so good! The body butter is so hydrating and the liquid soap leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean. Looking forward to buying more in the near future.

I came to this shop on a recommendation of a friend. The shop does not look like much on the outside. Once you get inside though you get to see the varieties of products that they have. The young lady at the counter explained all her products and I was quite happy with the customer service overall. I wanted to get the hair food in Orange Bang scent and they didn’t have it in stock. I was asked if I was willing to wait they could make me one on the spot. Of course I waited! That’s the type of service I look forward to. They only thing that I objected to was being shorted a jar of Shea butter. I had agreed to a price and thought I was getting two but got only one. I’m chalking it up to an oversight, but will be vigilant of this next time.
