Critical: ProfessionalismI have been here several times so my 19 year old daughter wanted the experience of a massage for her birthday. Most places when you are about receive a massage, the therapist explains what you should take off, the pressure of the massage and then they my leave for you to get undress. My daughter said that the therapist did not leave the room for her to do so. I thought that was very unusual and I am really disappointed that this happened. I was excited this being her first one. I know we as women have the same body parts , but even a dr. leaves the room for a patient to undress. I have been here several times so my 19 year old daughter wanted the experience of a massage for her birthday. Most places when you are about receive a massage, the therapist explains what you should take off, the pressure of the massage and then they my leave for you to get undress. My daughter said that the therapist did not leave the room for her to do so. I thought that was very unusual and I am really disappointed that this happened. I was excited this being her first one. Critical: Communication, QualityI have purchased gift cards here for many years without issue until recently. I did not know that money can expire as the $100 gift card purchased prior to the pandemic is not usable. The hair stylist did their job and so did the massage therapist.I feel like this business takes advantage of customers by stealing their money. I can understand coupons and gifts certificates by the company having an expiration date but I gave you $100 cash and you just took it. I will be looking for a new spa for the future. Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI will NOT be patronizing their business and told EVERYONE as well as the state board and governor Cooper about them not adhering to the MASK STATE MANDATE!! Had an appointment there today and not only were guest not wearing mask, employees weren’t either.
