So, first professional massage personally here. I’ll say it is the best one I’ve ever had, Katie was very attentive to my problem areas and actually read through the paperwork on what I needed help with. It’s hard to find somebody so willing to do the best job they can.

I went to Katie because of residual pain after lumbar surgery. While I was scared of feeling any additional pain from being touched in the area I had surgery on, I found that she had relaxed my muscles to the point that I felt more limber when I left than when I had arrived. She adapted her pressure to what I was able to tolerate, while releasing identified trigger points. She was friendly, accomodating, and explained everything she was doing and what she was feeling. I went to her as an alternative to going on pain medication again, to use in conjunction with physical therapy, and while I was the expected sore the rest of the day, my muscles were no longer tense, I was able to stand longer, and walk with significantly less pain. I got the best night’s sleep afterwards than I had for a few weeks, and I’m going to continue using Katie as part of my recovery.

Katie is AMAZING! I’ve been getting massages for more than half my life and Katie is by far the best massage therapist I have ever been to!!! I’ve never gone back to the same massage therapist more than twice until I came here. I’ve seen Katie 3 times in 3 months! I have a bad lower back and hold all my stress in my shoulders, she was able to work out all the knots and work with me on my degenerative disk in my L4 L5. I feel amazing after every visit! Worst massage I’ve ever gotten. Had to leave the Massage early because I just couldn’t take it anymore. The old man that did my Massage (which I was not happy about) refused to use lotion I had to keep telling him the whole time to please keep re applying because all I could feel was his dry hands rubbing against my skin. Had red marks on my face after I left. Very poor quality overall and disappointed in the experience I had.
