I booked a massage on Monday morning 10/14/2019. Last year in December of 2018 I gave birth to a son via cesarean, as part of that process I was required to have a spinal tap done to numb the lower part of my body in preparation for the surgery. Well, for the last 10 months I have been having agonizing pain at and all around the injection site. The pain was so unbearable that I couldn’t take it anymore and knew I needed to see someone. I can honestly say after having my session earlier this week that I am in no chronic pain! I deliberately wanted to wait for a few days before writing a review to see how my body was feeling, and to see if the pain would immediately return. Well it did not! And the pain I was in when I walked in the door isn’t even close to the same now. I can actually bend, twist and turn without feeling any pain at all. I would literally have to touch the spot and push down on it to feel discomfort. And because I know these things don’t go away over night, I am already planning to book my next session to get to the root of the problem. I trust that bodied by bee can definitely help me accomplish my goal to be totally pain free! The office space was exceptionally clean and welcoming, Benton (my therapist that day) was extremely professional, and the overall experience was one of the best I’ve experienced and I have been all over the states experiencing different styles of massage. I was even provided with take home education on different stretches and techniques to continue to curb pain after a massage session. I definitely recommend booking here if you are in the Gainesville or north central Florida area.
