I’ve been a customer for several years. Before the new owners, the salon was nice, and the majority of young women that worked there were pleasant enough. But I had nothing to compare it to. Since the the ownership, I am greeted like an old friend upon entering. The staff are so friendly and consistently pleasant. I feel welcomed and appreciated. I absolutely love the way the salon smells as soon as I walk in. Not just the choice of air fresheners, that you can tell in some places are covering up odors, but just plain clean. I highly recommend visiting just once, you’ll not go anywhere else. Many thanks to all of you for your knowledge, care and generosity of time.

I am usually one to leave a positive review, but I just could not find myself to do that with this establishment. I walked in and was immediately ignored by the “manager” which she claims to be. I was immediately profiled by this “manager” and ignored because I am black. She continued her small talk conversation with the white woman standing at the desk for almost 10 mins and completely ignored me. I will never support such a racist and lucrative business ever again!!

I have been going to Boca tanning west islip for 10+ years. I always have had a positive experience there. I’ve cheated on them a few times and went to a few different spots closer to my home, (I live 34 mins away) all of them could never compare and I’ve always went right back to boca lol. Boca is very clean & sanitary 9 out of 10 times walking through the door there’s an employee flying through the hallway with a swiffer, washing towels, or cleaning a room so I never have to worry about checking a bed before I got in. All of the staff have excellent customer service skills as well as knowledge on what would work best to achieve a tan. The 1 and only thing I would recommend is putting a dimmer switch in room #1. Other than that it’s clear this is the spot you should spend your time tanning.

Walked in and it immediately smelt like boiled garbage. Nobody was at the front desk. Smell was strong. I had to walk out. I’m not saying you shouldn’t go here, but if you do, bring nose plugs.

$70 a month for unlimited tanning, not a bad deal. If you go that often they sometimes are nice enough to hold onto your bottle of lotion as well.

Always have a pleasurable experience at Boca tanning! All of the girls are so friendly and warm. The beds are strong and the whole salon is always immaculate. I also love and appreciate, the fact that they have complimentary lotion and hair ties out for their customers, as well as a jolly rancher hard candy in each room for you to enjoy while you tan! Other businesses take note…this is how you do customer service!! Well done boca! You have a client for life!
