I came here for the ratings but there’s no indication this is by appointment only. I wish I could get a haircut but no one answers the phone and the door is locked with no one to answer. Im leaving 3 stars because the building looks nice. Approach at your own discretion. He/she might not be looking for new business…a shame.

It’s no surprise Bob’s is the neighborhood favorite it is. 20 years seeing them now (on and off with no hard feelings) and my best advice is to be specific with your barber. Classic barbershop atmosphere with skill in all diff avenues of cutting. Also recommended to people with shy kids. Beard trim, Hair shape up, Long haircut

I’ve been coming to bob to get my haircut since the place opened and I’ve never had a complaint about my hair nor do I want to or have gone anywhere else since. All 3 of them are great at what they do and they make the shop feel like a home. Everyone including strangers I’ve never met come in and conversate/busting chops like we’ve known each other for years. I highly recommend this place to anyone, young, old, whether your new or not. Moved to the area recently and was looking for a good place to get my hair cut. Stumbled upon Bob’s, saw the reviews and thought it looked like a friendly place. I wasn’t disappointed! Came out with a great haircut that I really like, which is rare for me — usually places just leave me feeling indifferent. On top of that, everyone there was friendly and I was able to laugh and have a good time while getting my hair cut instead of having insignificant small talk or just sitting in silence, like you end up doing at a lot of other places. Will come back here next time I need a haircut!

Been getting my hair cut by Bob Sr. since 1968 and never switched barbers since. The ship is relaxing and friendly and it’s a place you look forward to visiting every month or so. Bob Jr. is a true pro at his craft as well and a worthy successor of his dad. Six stars. Visit around Christmas week for a bit of holiday cheer on the way out after your cut.
