I drove my teen boys 30 minutes to get here on the hope that Jill could cut their messy mops into the styles they desired (and that several other stylists just couldn’t get right). Jill came through with flying colors!! Another stylist had recommended her to me and I’m so glad she did! This is a cute little shop, Jill was professional, on time and reasonably priced. So excited to have found her!

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityThe stylist I saw at this salon was Ashley. I arrived a bit earlier, but still ended up waiting 15 minutes past my scheduled time before beginning. During my appointment, I was asked if I wanted a deep treatment because she felt as though I needed it. Because she asked, I thought this was part of her process of ensuring a good styling process. Normally as a new client at a salon, they inform you that there will be an up-charge for an additional service. There were no signs in sight that listed the cost and had I wanted it or felt like I needed it, I would’ve opted for it when I initially set up my appointment. She told me she assumed I knew there would be an up-charge. As a stylist, you cannot make assumptions especially with a new client. Anyway, I ended up paying an additional unexpected $20. I left the store with a style I was unhappy with because she did not know how to style my hair. I have tight curls and my hair needs a lot of moisture, but neither of the products she used were helpful. It was my first time being at a salon where the stylist actually used mousse in my hair. I’m only giving two stars because I still got the haircut I needed. I don’t even think two stars is deserved, but I don’t want to be too harsh. This is an opportunity to learn from. Nothing sucks more than paying someone to cut and style your hair, leaving with an unexpected up-charge and being unsatisfied with the way your hair looks.
