I love this company I have been to 3 different locations around Dallas weekly and decided to book an appointment for trial for my wedding day drove three hours to get to this location to try them out for my wedding . 3 of us reserved hair cuts and beard trims and full service treatment. We were told they did not have time for us and cut all the treatments short due to us being 8 minutes late. We did call and give them a heads up saying we would be a few minutes late and was told we would not have an issue. My hair stylist is great clips quality the two other people I had with me were both done by the same person and both finished before my stylist had even gotten half way though

This is 3-stars because I genuinely love the company, but this location seems to have a high turnover rate. I have been going to The Boardroom since I was a kid, and it has always been a great place to get a haircut. A few years ago I moved from the Dallas area and started going to the one in Westlake Austin. Since I have been there they have not been able to hold a stylist. About every 6 months, I notice that my stylist is no longer working there. In the beginning, I imagined it was due to personal reasons of the stylist, but now after the 4th one, I believe it may be the work environment that they provide. After using The Boardroom for 10+ years, I am tempted to look elsewhere. Taylor and Samantha were awesome!

Overpriced chop shop. My stylist literally told me she failed her “interview/exam” and birds which charges 1/2 the price. She told me she “wasn’t in the mood today” then proceeded to chop off the growth I’ve built up for a several months. Totally disregarded the template I brought in and guides on how to cut my hair. Then when it didn’t style well at the end… I suddenly had a cowlick. Never had a cowlick across my entire head before. Called for a refund or some help, guess if I got a call back…

This was my 3rd trip to the Boardroom and my first at this location. I absolutely love this place! Brandi was very helpful when I booked my appointment over the phone and had a beverage to quench my thirst after a long day. My stylist Sharon had just moved to Austin and we had great conversation while she cut and styled my hair. The shampoo and massage were fantastic and allowed me to get centered again after a stressful couple of weeks. After my hair was styled I just chatted with Sharon and Brandi at the front desk until I finished my beer. I have always had great haircuts at the Boardroom and I will definitely be back soon.
