The Boardroom Salon for Men is incredible! This is one of the best cuts that I have ever gotten. James is definitely a man to go to for some clean cuts. Did I mention they give complimentary drinks? Literally the best haircut place out there. It’s worth the extra bucks. You won’t be disappointed. Would recommend this place to my closest friends and family.

I’ve gotten haircuts a few times here. They’re fairly consistent, and they take their time to get it right, but I’m not confident the end result is good enough to justify how much more expensive it is.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI have used Boardroom numerous times over the past two years. Of which the stylist themselves are very helpful. However, management is a different case. There have been times where I’m running a bit late at which I always call and let them know that I will be few minutes late. Which is no different than me showing up on time and sitting in the front waiting for the stylist to finish up with their existing client which makes me have to wait. Of which, I have no problem with. Where I have a problem is when I do call and I’m a few minutes late, management wants to reduce your services, while still charging you the same rate. I have a major issue with this. I’m a great tipper, I always tip each stylist $15-20 dollars each visit. Not only that, Boardroom is the most expensive place in the city and they aren’t even a barbershop. I was told that they could not wash my hair after my cut, at which point I became upset as they want to charge me full price, but do not want to perform the services. They then put me on hold to speak to a manager at which time said she would take $5 off. At which point I stated, why would I do this when I have to have little fine hairs itching me all day. I need my hair washed after. She then proceeded to hang up on me when I said the same word “damn” because I cursed at her is what she said. I called back and got reception again, which then I was hung up on again. I called back two more times, no one answered. Then I called back again and got reception again at which point I was then then told they would be canceling my appointment and was no longer welcome at their location. Bravo Boardroom you really know how to handle customer service. The choice should be at the stylist level, especially when I’m the one tipping her $15-20 for my haircut. Sticking to your “time” shows that you care more about appointments and money rather than the quality of cut and the experience of the client.Good Luck!Happy CustomerI have used Boardroom numerous times over the past two years. Been here several times and generally appreciate the service. This time a I made an appointment for 4:30. They called me and asked if I’d be willing to move it to 5, I said sure no problem. I show up at 5 and was told my appt was for 4:45 and that I was late so they cancelled it. I explained the situation and that I was doing them a favor. They offered no explanation, no real apology, no anything. I will not come back here again, so if anyone has a good place for haircuts in Sugar Land please let me know.

Ok so I never leave reviews but I feel Cassidy definitely deserves one! I’ve struggled with barbers for the past five years!!! But today I walked into the boardroom and asked my stylist (Cassidy) to maybe change it up from the normal style that I have done for years…. She absolutely killed it! The conversation was great and the attention to detail was even better! Id give her a 10/10 if your looking to get your haircut in a cool atmosphere this is a good place to try

James was the BEST BARBER I’ve ever had. Overall very welcoming environment and they give you a discount on your first haircut. What more can you ask for? Complimentary beverages of your choice as you wait. Loved this location and will definitely return and recommend to others.

Always great!! I go see Dorothy and always look great and feel great when we are done. Overall they take the time to advise on what would look good and how to style once your home. I love it and am going to start taking advantage of the membership. Go here and make sure Dorothy takes care of you. But no matter who helps you it’ll always come out great.

Cassidy runs an amazing salon. I go there twice a week and it’s my oasis in the chaotic desert of life. Zoe and Lily always greet me with smiles and are quick to get a shiner every time I come in. Everyone should get get a membership here so they can be as pampered as I am.
