Honestly this nail salon has great customer service and overall good energy/vibe. There was a mixup with my scheduled appointment, however they made sure to accommodate me with the tech I requested and design that I wanted. To add, they did so with a smile and maintained a great attitude and professionalism the entire time. Never made me feel like a burden! Even on a busy day. I’m new to San Diego and so happy I found them!! Their nail techs are pretty cutting edge on new trends too. I got gel-x with a design on all nails and she finished in less than a hour. So happy!! Thank you!

Critical: ProfessionalismI rarely make reviews but the lady I had today was not good for what I paid for. I made an appointment with two friends for 1pm and took 30 mins to take me in, and almost an hour for my friends. I simply wanted a gel manicure since it was my friend who wanted the gel ex nails and had a girl who she found on Instagram (she did a good job, but the prices here are so much). I felt rushed to pick a color, and rushed through the whole process. Since I got gel, I had to obviously put it under the UV light and she kept telling me to switch hands when the light did not turn off. There’s a time limit on there to make sure your nails are dry, but she kept rushing me that they were not drying properly. She wiped one of my nails, and all of them came off. So instead of fixing it and layering it again, she put one coat, a clear coat and called it a day. She also cut me on three fingers, where I still have blood from her cutting my cuticles and it still hurts. Just cause the seats have that barbie pink leather and it’s a cute place inside, it does not mean to overbook or overcharge. My nails were 40 which is average for gel nails, but didnt get any treatment except for lotion on only my right hand. I think she forgot the left hand since thats the one where she messed up my nail. Overall, I don’t recommend this place. Acrylics/gelx are 130+ and pedicures are 70. Overpriced, rushed and overall was not a good environment :(I rarely make reviews but the lady I had today was not good for what I paid for. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI was so excited to try this place after seeing the beautiful pictures on Instagram. When I arrived for my appointment I had to wait 15mins, then was moved to the pedicure chairs to get my manicure because the manicure station was full. My nail tech went to start on my nails as I sat uncomfortably at the pedicure station, than she abruptly left me to go help someone that had just walked in. I waited another 15 mins for her to finally start on my nails. When she cut my cuticles she was so rough with the dremel that she cut me on 5 fingers. I sat there in disbelief at how unprofessional she was. I was bleeding so bad that I have dried blood under my nail and when I left I was still bleeding! I will say when I went to go pay ($110!!), I told the woman at the front desk how unhappy I was and she could tell I was on the verge of tears, so she let me go free of charge. I will definitely not be coming back here!! My nails look so lumpy and my fingers are all cut. Not to mention the way she was cleaning up my bloody nails was so unsanitary, hopefully I don’t get an infection. I will NEVER be coming back here!!Service: ManicureI was so excited to try this place after seeing the beautiful pictures on Instagram. The worst nail salon. The lady bring a used towel with other peoples nails hanging on it and when I asked her politely to change it she said it is clean it’s just soap on it. so I decided not to get the manicure. I got the gel pedicure I asked for white polish and gold French tip and she did a horrible job. cut my nails too short. I asked her for acrylic on both big toes and she did not understand. So, just for a regular white gel polish I was charged $70. HORRIBLE place. Never coming back here again!! please, go somewhere else to get better service.

Amazing staff and they do a great job. Only negative is that even if you make an appointment you might end up waiting up to 40 min to be seen. Also everything cost extra, usually $5 per nail so ask about that before you do multiple colors, glitter or experiment with matt/shiny. Other than that great results and gorgeous nails. I go there every 2 weeks and have been since I moved to the area about 1 year ago so that should tell you something, right?

I thought this was going to be my new go-to place at first receptionist seem very nice I made an appointment and went and I asked about the product I wasn’t given a direct answer was very vague place is beautiful inside spa-like and when my nails were done they seemed to look quite appealing but as anybody knows the real test is the two-week grow out mine didn’t last 24 hours I had two Cracks by the same and next day that I had to go get repaired the other thing that stuff for me is people speaking a different language for my service so I don’t understand what’s being said or explained nonetheless a different technician did the repairs my nails did not even last another 24 hours brakes cracks lifting everywhere which tells you the product is not quality the technique is not quality I had to find another place to go within one week to have my nails completely redone this is when I found Galaxy Nails in Sherman Oaks read my review on them and try them out unfortunately I cannot recommend blush bar they also overcharged me give me some song and dance how their prices were raised but if you look in there brochure I was overcharged by $10 buyer beware

While I liked the ambiance my manicure part of my mani pedi turned out a little less than subpar. My cuticles were not really treated well and the polish looks poorly. I could have done this portion at home for free, and had them turn out about the same. The people here are nice enough, and the shop provides an excellent ambiance, I unfortunately just seemed to have someone who maybe had an off day.

Not worth the price they charge. The salon feels dirty and unkept, with dated decor and chairs which have the coverings peeling off. Staff are unwelcoming, especially the front desk…always on their phones and not bothering to say hello when you come in, giving you irritated looks and whispering to their coworkers. I got a simple gel-x manicure for over $150 which imo is ridiculous in and of itself. Also spent almost 30min waiting for an appt I made in advance?? Would rather spend that kind of money somewhere clean and welcoming. Wouldn’t recommend. Only upside was my tech Roxanne, she was lovely but simply not enough to warrant the rest of the disappointments.
