I used Blush’s hair and makeup services for me and my bridesmaids. Aside from hearing glowing reviews about the salon from other brides, another selling point was that they will travel to you! That’s was so nice to be able to stay at my parents house the whole morning rather than going back and forth to get ready.

I had Nikki and Leah do my makeup and hair, and hair/makeup for my mother in law and sister for my July wedding. I couldn’t do a trial because I live abroad but showed them a few photos for inspiration. They were so fast! And it all looked amazing. I was also so impressed by their communication before the wedding. They reached out to confirm the timeline before any of my other vendors and stuck to it like clockwork and it was just reassuring to know I was on their radar after not really being in communication since I booked them. Highly recommended!

As soon as Zia greeted me at Blush Salon, I knew I was in good hands. Very warm, friendly, and positive, she wanted to give me the best look for my day. We had the team do our hair and make-up for my wedding last month, and I really appreciate the confidence they gave me with their services. I was planning my Buffalo wedding while living in a different city and found Blush online. After looking through their social media and reviews, that was all I needed to book them. Amidst an insane wedding season that 2022 is, they were so responsive to my emails and calls (aka Sam was incredibly helpful). My hair and make-up trial, a month before my wedding, took a huge weight off my shoulders when I realized their work was as good as social media promised (and my hair lasted me sleeping on it all night since I wanted to make it last for the next morning too). The wedding day, they were efficient and on time in the morning at my parents’ house, and made us laugh and feel relaxed as we got ready. They took COVID precautions per my request. Everyone’s hair did pretty well throughout the night, though as anyone could expect, we had a few strands fall out after jumping endlessly during the Shout song. A good sign for the durability! Would for sure recommend them!

They came to the location to do hair and makeup. The one stylist was not very friendly and barely touched my mom’s hair. Half of the bridesmaids hair (curls and braids) fell out before the wedding started, one girl was able to have hers fixed by the other stylist before they left, 2 girls took the makeup off and redid it on their own, and 2 girls eyelashes were falling off before the ceremony. It was definitely not worth what we paid.

Used Blush for our Feb 2022 wedding, no regrets! I had a bridal makeup trial with Nikki a few months in advance. I was very nervous about finding the right makeup artist. Used Nikki off of a friend’s recommendation. The trial went great & honestly loved Nikki as much as I loved my makeup. She’s a true professional. I then used her to do my rehearsal day makeup & wedding day makeup. I did airbrush for one and traditional for another, it’s no issue for her to do either. Nikki’s team did my bridal party on wedding day. Everyone looked amazing with zero complaints! Working with Blush & Nikki was one of the easiest parts of getting married. She is so organized & the business is great with communication. Highly recommend!

Blush is a professional, clean salon with a chic but fun atmosphere and friendly staff — probably the best salon NT has to offer! Nikki B. has been my hair stylist for 7 years and I’ve never been disappointed. My very first cut with Nikki was a pixie cut and I’ve trusted her ever since! She’s easy to talk to, an expert in her field, and will never let you walk away with a bad cut.

Nikki did wedding makeup for me (bride), my sister-in-law, my mom, and my mother-in-law. Not only did she do a phenomenal job, but she took us on as clients with maybe 4 hours notice, as my original MUA tested positive for COVID! She held really friendly conversation with my husband’s family while working, and she customized the looks to each of our comfort levels and particular styles. You can see here just how beautifully the look photographed, and it was really lightweight and comfortable (this from someone who never wears makeup). We had an amazing experience with this business!

I absolutely LOVE going to Blush Makeup & Hair. My wedding day was made SO special. Everything was absolutely perfect and Casey Carminati went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make me look perfect on my big day, as well as stayed with me until I left for the ceremony which is a moment I will hold dear forever. Those little moments count the most and whenever you go to Blush you feel apart of their family! I will never ever let anyone else touch my hair!
