Positive: Punctuality, Quality, ValueBlush and Brush Beauty Bar did an amazing job for my wedding hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids, and mother and mother-in-law! The free hair and makeup trial for the bride was great to try out the hair style and makeup I had in mind, since few places have these for free. Since I also had a hot July wedding, I really wanted lighter airbrush makeup, and although a lot of salons don’t have this, Blush and Brush did! On the day of, Ashley and her sweet girls were super flexible in accommodating additional bridesmaids who decided to get their hair or makeup done last minute and created a fun, laid back atmosphere where we were able to relax and eat breakfast inside while getting ready . They worked very quickly even while doing another wedding party at the same time, their whole team was there with half of them doing makeup and the other half hair so that we were able to just switch off once complete with one. They also weren’t afraid to adjust hair or makeup styles to get just the look we wanted. I also recommend their $15 spray tans on Thursday’s, which timed out perfectly with my Saturday wedding. The location was also perfect since we also got married in Seymour. I went to blush and brush for my wedding day. My bridal party and I had the best experience and came out looking fabulous. I am so happy that I chose to go to them for my big day. The atmosphere was so fun and everyone in there was excited for my big day. My hair and makeup was fabulous thanks to Ashley and Pheobe. I would recommend them to anyone that is getting married. They will not disappoint.

Critical: ProfessionalismOriginal stylist was very sweet. I was happy with my original experience but I did have concerns. Getting hair extensions was a pretty big investment ( they charged a very fair price for the service, but non the less) so I did want to it least state my concerns. I had a follow up with the owner, because original stylist felt unable to help, and was treated coldly by the owner from the start. Instead of listening to my concerns with the intention to help, she kept interrupting with justifications as to why my concerns were invalid. Once it was clear that me she wasn’t concerned with me being a satisfied client i just acknowledged the obvious and told her that i didn’t feel like her intent was to help. She quickly explained it was my fault for being aggressive. Professional? I think not. By far the WORST salon experience ever.
