It has been about a year since my last haircut. I moved here last December, and I have had my hair messed up so many times, that I am always nervous to go somewhere new. I have important events coming up and knew that I had to go for it. My thought was that if it got messed up, I have plenty of wiggle room. My hair was more than halfway down my back, now it’s barely past my shoulders. I said that I wanted a couple of inches above the split ends. Mikaela said that just a little bit needed to come off, then proceeded to cut off probably 6-8” of hair or more. I would think you would double check before taking someone from past mid-back to near shoulder length. No, I didn’t say anything in the salon, because you can’t glue hair back on. I tried to convince myself that I needed this, but I am crushed. I grew my hair for years and just wanted it freshened up a bit.

Love Megan at blum! The other girls I’m sure are great also but I haven’t seen them. I’ve been here going on 4 years and she’s the only one I’ve came back to more then once. I have long straight hair and I like it layered its a simple cut but layers are tricky. She also does amazing on short hair , the friend that referred me has short hair and she’s been going to her for years. The little space downtown is super cute too. I would highly recommend
