Critical: QualityThe masseuse I had (Max) had very poor massage technique. It was not a relaxing massage at all and he spent very little time on my problem areas of my back or even on the shoulders and neck area and spent time doing some bizarre massage between my fingers (which wasn’t relaxing at all). I would have said something, but normally the masseuse knows what they are doing, and I don’t feel that I should be giving pointers for how they should be doing their job when I just want to relax. The music in the room needed to be calmer and more relaxing too (sometimes it was and then suddenly it would become more energetic). The masseuse I had (Max) had very poor massage technique. It was not a relaxing massage at all and he spent very little time on my problem areas of my back or even on the shoulders and neck area and spent time doing some bizarre massage between my fingers (which wasn’t relaxing at all). Critical: ProfessionalismI had booked a massage for my husband as a birthday gift and the day of the massage I was trying to call to let them know to charge the card on file. I called many times because they would pick up the phone and not say “hello” or they would just hang up on me. After calling many times someone finally answered saying “please stop calling this number and take us off the call list”. I let her know I was not a telemarketer and then just said what I had to say about charging my card. That is unprofessional and plain rude. I am a business owner and yes I recieve many telemarketing calls on a daily basis, but guess what? I always answer my phone with the same greeting because I do not know if it could potentially be a client. I had read many good reviews about this spa which is why I decided to book here instead of others, but customer service has to be excellent as well and this lady just dropped the ball on that one. I called many times because they would pick up the phone and not say “hello” or they would just hang up on me.
