I LOVE BLUE NAILS!!! Nina is the absolute best. She is so kind and so sweet. She always takes excellent care of me. And she has a superb eye for colors and designs. She makes everything look beautiful. Look at these Christmas jewels she just did for me! The salon is clean and beautifully decorated, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Blue Nails is my go to every two weeks on the dot!

It was wonderful learning that Nina had bought her own salon – Blue Nails! She used to do my nails at another salon, but I will be coming here now. Lots of colors to choose from, you can make an appointment, and she does fantastic work! I’ve been going to her for over a year and have never had my natural nails chip or break with dip powder.

Nina and the staff are all absolutely amazing. I have been seeing Nina for a little over 2 years and she never disappoints. She knows exactly what I like/what looks good, helps me pick colors, fixes anything that doesn’t look right the first time without hesitation! She likes to talk to you and will hold a conversation, you don’t see that much with nail techs! If you’re in the Madison area or looking for a new tech, 10/10 recommend Nina! This salon uses MMA/some sort of cheap monomer. If you dont know what MMA is, im nervous for you. It is a highly poisonous monomer that is used to activate the acrylic. It can cause permanent nail loss, numbness, allergic reaction & even fungus. I came to blue nails so they could fix what someone else had already damaged. That was my biggest mistake. Now my natural nails are in even worse condition. I have a fungus underneath the acrylic that literally will not budge off of my nails and i am in SO much pain. I will have to get these drilled off (SOMEWHERE ELSE) so i can treat the fungus underneath and heal my natural nails. If you are looking for an honest salon, this aint the one. MMA is illegal in 38 states. Alabama being one of them. How they are getting these products? Unsure. But you can tell it is MMA when you try to soak it off. EMA (the healthy and better option) flakes and melts off the nail effortlessly, MMA barely breaks down and turns rubbery. It also hardens much faster so you have to work incredibly fast. I should have known when they brought those unmarked bottles out. The last set i got here was $75 not including tip. I paid these people almost $100 to permanently damage my naturally beautiful nails. Go at your own risk, i know i wont be returning. And a message to the owners: i will be reporting you to the BBB AND the board of cosmetology. And if i lose my nails permanently or i am in pain permanently then i will be seeing you in court. Merry Christmas. Yall brave for using such a dangerous product not knowing who could be educated and who isnt. EDIT: I have added pictures of what these people have done to my hands. First photo shows my pinky and ring finger infected with a fungus from the use of the MMA & the second picture shows how they have bruised my nail beds and a month later THEY STILL WONT COME OFF.

First time and last time visit. The technician was not experienced took forever to finish, didn’t cut my cuticles, nails started falling and getting damaged after less than two weeks. Overpriced and unprofessional, never again Acrylic nails, Pedicure, Nail designs

My friend and I made an appointment to get some manicures. We showed up, chose our colors, got our manicures at the same time, sitting right next to each other, just as we requested. Very pleasant eperience. The place is clean, cozy, and fairly priced.

I had a great experience with this nail salon. They are new owners and I am glad they are here in this area. The customer service is always friendly, fast, and attentive. My nails are naturally hard and thick and even with acrylic nails they stay pretty thick and grow even faster. I know that the drilling prior to the acrylic solution is required to help the bonding of the acrylic to my natural nail so I don’t mind it or consider my nails damaged afterwards. It’s what I’ve asked for with that understanding. Depending on how rough I am with my nails, they last a lot longer than 2 weeks. Times when they get too long I tend to start picking at my nails, but I never have an issue with it coming off or them hurting. Another plus to this salon is a 100 inspection rating. I get picky about these things as it could possibly affect my health, safety or experience. This is now my 2nd time and I will continue to support this business.
