I took my daughter to see Chelsea at Blue Mesa for the first time a couple weeks ago. After 9 years of struggling with thick, curly hair and hours brushing out knots – she was overdo for some professional help. This was her first salon time at a salon and Chelsea did an amazing job! She cut and layered my kiddos curls so that it wouldn’t keep tangling and knotting up. She gave me tips and tricks for maintaining (I don’t have curly hair) and she was so patient and kind. We had such a great experience and now my daughter is able to brush her own hair (and actually wants to!).

I moved here 2 years ago and had to do the random google search to find a new stylist and hope for the best that it’s a good fit. Did I luck out at Blue Mesa! I’ve been seeing Ashly for 2 years and just love her and the salon. Ashly always listens to what I am wanting but also makes her educated suggestions on what would work/not work to get the look I am going for. She is an expert in cut and color and perfects my hair every time I go! I always love it and feel so great leaving the salon. To top it off the prices are very reasonable and not over the top as some salons can be. The atmosphere is also very cute and welcoming. There’s snacks and beverages that you can enjoy during your appointment! I Highly recommend Blue Mesa and Ashly!

I called 3 weeks ago to get more information about hair extensions as I’ve never had them before. Ashly answered the phone and impressed me with her customer service, knowledge and professionalism. She was the first person I had called and after, felt no need to call anywhere else so i booked my appointment. The results are simply stunning. I have health issues and one of the consequences of it are losing hair during flare ups, making my hair incredibly thin and fine. Because of the health issues, it can be very difficult to not sink into having being “sick” as your identity. I work very hard at not letting that happen and try to practice self love, but after 10 years of being ill, it can be hard to look in a mirror and truly feel beautiful. I mean this so sincerely when i say that her work is changing my entire self perspective. When I got home, i looked in the mirror and started to cry. Its the first time YEARS that i truly felt beautiful. I’m so grateful to her, her kindness, professionalism and care in this transformation and she’s definitely made a new loyal client.
