I was unaware when I walked into Blue lily massage this morning that it was the first day of opening. You wouldn’t know it. It was so warm and inviting from the moment I walked in the door. Unfortunately I don’t remember the ladys name who I got my massage from. But, she took the time to listen to my specific needs, as I suffer from a spine disorder that reeks havoc on my neck and shoulders. We picked a massage that was right for my needs and added some aroma therapy with essential oils. I did a 60 minute full body with extra attention to my neck and shoulders. After my massage I can honestly say I felt lighter and less tension in my neck. I will definitely be going back! And doing the 90 min next time.

Let me start by telling you I have been getting massages here SLO County for many years. And I am not easy to please I don’t give many reviews. But I have to tell you. Blue Lily Massage is my top pick. The shop is clean and relaxing. But most importantly I have now been there twice, and both times I was blown away on how good the deep tissue massage I received was. I would recommend this place over any other by far. Angel is the best, at least that’s my name for her, because her massages feel miraculous.

We need to talk about how amazing this place is. First thing’s first, it’s clean and upstanding, a small operation, and only two massage therapists, both of which are female which matters to me and maybe some of you. Second, it is the perfect amount of cozy and incorporates Eastern practices without making you feel like you’re about to go on a weird hippy spiritual journey the second you walk in the door. Third, these massage therapists know what they are doing. I had Michelle and she is absolutely incredible. Growing up, she studied traditional Chinese medicine, herbs, reflexology, and acupuncture under her mother in China, and she was formally trained in Western massage therapy techniques in Thousand Oaks area. So basically she’s legit and also the best of both worlds. Additionally, she’s extremely intuitive. This is not the kind of Chinese massage place you go to and you get whatever their routine is. It’s real massage therapy where she hands you a piece of paper with pictures of the human body at three angles and you circle your problem spots, and she really caters your massage to your body’s needs. You can tell that she senses exactly where your tension is and really wants to help improve your quality of life. I’m going through one of the most difficult times in my life right now and this honestly made me feel 85% better and made me sleep better than I have in months. This was one of the best massages I’ve ever had, and I actually made an appointment for myself and my fiancé for Christmas Eve. My only reservation in writing this review is that I’m afraid you all will now know my secret place and it will drive up demand. Please don’t raise your amazing prices Michelle! You have a new big fan.
