I moved from the Bronx just like 3 blocks away noticed this place a couple times driving down lake. I looked them up and decided to try them my hair came out nice lasted 2 weeks. 1 thing I didn’t like they kept complaining on how much hair I have honestly that’s your job no need to complain. Critical: ProfessionalismI had made an appointment to have my natural hair colored and pressed. When I arrived they took one look at my hair and canceled my appointment. I was told I have to reschedule for another day. I am so disappointed and disgusted with this salon. They are very unprofessional. A waste of time and very inconsiderate people. I had made an appointment to have my natural hair colored and pressed. When I arrived they took one look at my hair and canceled my appointment. I was told I have to reschedule for another day. I am so disappointed and disgusted with this salon. They are very unprofessional. A waste of time and very inconsiderate people. I would NEVER recommend anyone doing business with them.

I was very specific and asked to keep my length. Ask for a trimmed, less than 1 inch from the length and to add some layers. Obviously based on the pictures as you can see she cut way more than 1 inch. More like 5-6 inches. The girl denied she cut that much. Stated that my hair was not that long when I went there and that cutting the layers made my hair look shorter Like I didn’t know how long was my hair?!… She also stated it would be easier now for me to dry my own hair and that my hair would be healthier. Which all sounded like a bunch of excuses to me. Not even one apology. If you are like me. I will think twice before coming here.

I had an appointment but still had to wait for an hour in between getting my hair washed and blowing it out. So, after being in there for two hours for a wash/dry, I was charged 65 dollars!!. I understand I have extensions but I have never been charged this much even in the upper east side of Manhattan. Never going back again.

Fact that they blow dry my hair nice and I give them the two stars for that but I had to stop myself from going there, the last time I went there while waiting I had my EarPods on cause I didn’t want to hear the staff and other customers conversation so this lady had the nerve to yell at me instead of getting close to me and make me notice her. Few months before that, I went to get a cut on my ends and brought my sister with me too, mind you half of my hair was cut and while she was cutting my sister’s hair she was talking bout my sister having too much hair, but isn’t that your job?? Anyways not going there anymore.

I used to come to this salon at least once a week but I had to stop going because the lady that washes hair is the WORST. She talks the whole time on the phone and does not pay attention to what she’s doing. I have gone there multiple times and left with my hair still dirty because she just does not care to do her job correctly. The only reason I continued to go is because Yokasta is amazing and she styles my hair perfectly every time ! I hope that they get a new person to wash hair so that I can come back soon !
