To me, a proper barber shop is about the experience. Scott provides the best experience of any local shop, hands-down. He is incredibly personable, respectful, and kind. As for the haircut, the attention to detail does not go unnoticed. Scott’s philosophy of “100%, every customer, every time” is absolutely true, as he demonstrates in his desire to do every service at the highest quality possible. For my first visit, I enjoyed an excellent, classic haircut and a beard trim with a straight-razor. I was very impressed with the quality and experience, and I greatly look forward to my next visit.

Reviewing after my second visit to this Barbership. The first was great and the second, even better. I received many compliments on my hair and beard last time and I expect the same, if not more, this time. Scott is an awesome guy, it has been great talking with him and getting to know him. He remembered me from the first visit 6 weeks later, including my name, my occupation, my style, and much more. Scott is very personable and has truly made “going to get a hair cut” into an enjoyable experience. What he does is an art and a craft, it takes great skill to do this well and Scott definitely has it. He is very meticulous, expect nothing less than perfection when you go in. And I highly recommend that you do.

I decided to give this place a try after driving by one day, and I’m so glad I did! Scott is a great guy and I received the best haircut I’ve ever had. He really takes his time, and his skill at his job is amazing. Also it is very easy to use his website to set up appointments and check out all the services he offers. I will be a regular from now on, and would HIGHLY recommend to any man wanting a completely professional cut.

Scott is truly amazing at what he does! Highly skilled and knows what is expected without having to explain too much. When I first met Scott, I was welcomed really really well. He made sure that not only I got an awesome experience but also suggested different style that I might like given my personality and career. And I indeed loved what he did. He’s also a great conversationalist! Very knowledgeable which is a great characteristic of his because you’re really supposed to just relax and let your barber take care of you without having to pay attention to what’s being done! I’m really glad that I found him. I live in Nashville but I always only get haircuts from Scott back in Alabaster and the drive is definitely worth it.

One of my best friends recommended getting my hair cut at Blue Chair so I decided to go on over & see Scott. This is/was by far the best hair cut and experience I’ve ever had at a barbershop. Scott did an outstanding job with my hair and he even conversed with me on anything from sports to relationship advice. Definitely will come back soon!
