Amazing hair salon! My hair stylist Miho did a lovely job. She bleached my hair twice to give a bright green and orange layer to the bottom half of my naturally black hair. Weeks later my hair is still strong and the colors are fading nicely. I would definitely go again!

My stylist Dai has given me the best haircut I’ve had in a while in NYC. He is skilled and pays great attention to detail. Above all he listens to his customer and makes great suggestions. I didn’t bring pictures and gave very abstract description of what I wanted, but somehow he understood me perfectly. I love how clean and light my new haircut is, and will definitely be returning.

Really good experience at Blu Bocker. Dai listened to my hair needs and gave me a nice haircut with layers. He was good with the scissors and detail oriented. He was friendly and made me feel welcomed. I paid $75 plus tip to get a hair wash, cut, and blow out for my long hair. It was a bit expensive than what I’m used to paying but fair for the area. Took off one star because I didn’t get a hair wash after the cut. I know that’s not standard practice here, but it’s what I’m used to in hair salons in Asia. I would come back again!

I had my first cut here and got a deep conditioning treatment. I was very happy with how my hair looked and felt afterwards. My stylist Miho was great! She listened and took the time to understand my incredibly damaged and thinning hair. I am coming back in a week to touch up my roots. The vibe of the place is unpretentious and relaxing and I felt comfortable right away. The services are also reasonably priced. Very happy to have found blu bocker!

Love the store. However, I went there for a bleach, and found out it turned out fairly unevenly… some part of my hair was still my natural color, while others differs from level 7-9. I wanted to go to salon just hoping for a better result will turn out, which this time I was fairly disappointed.
