As a male who has only recently discovered the joys of professionals nail care I can’t speak highly enough of the entire staff we interacted with at Blu Bamboo. Go there early during your stay on Islamorada to get good local recommendations on restaurants and activities as well!

Went in for a double dose of relaxation! Started with a phenomenal facial that alone would have garnered 5 stars. Subsequently following was a deep tissue massage, masseuse using techniques I’ve never experienced. I floated out of the salon with a smile and an attitude to take on whatever the day brought 🙂

Oh I am so thrilled! I have searched to find an esthetician who performs the “sugaring” process versus wax strips. I discovered this salon and the owner, Cindy is phenomenal. She even answers the phone for the business. That is evidence of a commitment to providing great customer service. Iriana worked with me. She was efficient, pleasant and quick. I was out of the salon in 30 minutes. If you do wax strips try this process as it lasts longer and is a better process for hair removal. You will NOT be disappointed. Nice job Cindy and Iriana! I am a committed customer!

The pedicure was fine, nothing really special. When I made the appointment for myself and a friend, I was not asked then or when we went in to get the pedicure which pedicure we wanted. We were not aware that there was a $45 and a $55 pedicure charge. We were charged $55 each. This is bad customer service and we will not be going back. It is a lesson learned. Next time we should ask how much a pedicure will be instead of assuming that we would be told of the different costs.

My husband had his hair cut here, he gets a simple fade from a 0 to a 2 and scissor cut on top. We were grateful they could get him in on the same day however after asking the receptionist if they had a good stylist that could do a fade, I was told they do them everyday and it wouldn’t be a problem…
