This was one of the worst blowouts I’ve ever gotten. The associate had no idea what she was doing. She was so rough and kept digging her nails into my scalp while she was shampooing me. I left with such an irritated scalp from all the scratching and pulling, it was unreal. She rushed the service and didn’t take the time to even blow dry my ends fully before she stated going in with the curling iron. My hair felt dry and dull when I left. I will never come back to this location. To the owner – hire better professionals, or train them more effectively before you start letting them perform services on their own.

I used to look forward to my weekly standing BOJ appointments. Unfortunately all of the good stylists have left and those left are clearly new to the field. Hair falls within 30 mins of leaving the salon. Really disappointing as I love getting blowouts however I’m now spending more time fixing my blowout versus if I were to just do it myself.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI got the Brazilian blowout on Sunday. First of all, it was originally scheduled for Saturday but they called me saying that the girl wasn’t trained to do it so I had to come on Sunday. When I went the pump for the clarifying shampoo (first step) was broken so she used different shampoo (I should’ve known then that it was going to be bad) however she reassured me that she was using a shampoo that was similar. Throughout the process I was questioning steps because I have had the Brazilian blowout a number of times at my salon in Pittsburgh. For example, the girl in Pittsburgh always does a final shampoo and deep conditioning mask at then end. Here she didn’t even shampoo the product out, but just simply wet it. When I asked about the final shampoo and conditioner rinse she told me that she didn’t know what I was talking about and that they don’t do that.I was charged $420! It’s Tuesday and I already have frizz. This salon is a rip off. They probably aren’t even using the Brazilian blowout products. I am so mad and feel as if I was scammed. I won’t be back. I got the Brazilian blowout on Sunday. First of all, it was originally scheduled for Saturday but they called me saying that the girl wasn’t trained to do it so I had to come on Sunday. When I went the pump for the clarifying shampoo (first step) was broken so she used different shampoo (I should’ve known then that it was going to be bad) however she reassured me that she was using a shampoo that was similar.
