Blow La La Full Service Salon & Blow Dry Bar

Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueUnfortunately my friend and I both had terrible experiences at this blow bar. We were in the area for a formal wedding and booked early afternoon services. The stylists were all clearly hungover from the night before and had zero interest being there. (Whatever, I don’t care as long as you can still do your job.) My friend’s appointment started 30 minutes late because the stylist she was assigned to didn’t keep track of time with the client he was working on before her (and losing 30 minutes before a big event is a HUGE chunk of time). I asked for a deep side part with big curls and volume such that my long hair could be pinned to one side and draped over one shoulder. My stylist washed and dried my hair, split into 5 sections, wrapped those around a curling iron for 10-15 seconds, pulled it to the side with a few pins, and declared I was finished. She hardly used any conditioning or styling products, so my hair was not only dry and frizzy, but completely flat with very poorly defined curls. Mind you, I have long, type 2c hair that can achieve 80s-style volume and holds curl very well when styled properly. I had to ask the stylist to to re-curl my hair. In the 30 minutes that followed while I waited for my friend to be finished, my hair had pretty much fallen out. My stylist was no where to be found for me to express my concerns. Since we were already running behind, I had no choice but to pay the ridiculous $90 and then COMPLETELY redo my hair myself at the hotel before the wedding. My friend disliked her hair so much that she also completely washed it out and styled it herself. We were both extremely disappointed, especially considering the cost of the services.
