Stopped by for a pedicure was helped by Holly being a out of town guest decided to check out Blooming nails based off reviews posted. Unfortunately it was never mentioned how disconnected manicurist are and having a simple English conversation is too much to ask. Being a bilingual female myself understand and know how rude it is to speak a foreign language in front of guest who don’t speak the same language. Also asking prices took 5 different manicurist to receive a answer terrible business practices. Last tools are not opened in sight to show proper sanitation practices are being used. If your looking for a salon that looks outdated, over priced and disconnected this is the salon for you.

Hit or miss depending on the tech you get. I have small nails and I’ve gotten nicked before but the work comes out pretty good. My go to spot for convenience. Overall decent prices and wide selection of colors.

I have been here multiple times. At first the service was good decent enough for the price. But the last times I went with a different people, one lady left a lot of the dip power residue under my nails when I got a dip power mani. Same lady broke my nature nail after I spent 1-2 months growing them out, and chipped 2 of my nails. I’ve gotten a gel manicure, and it chips the next day. Another lady left the sides of my nail set with no dip powder. Another situation I had was I called to go in to get 1 nail fixed. I asked if I can go in at 4 but the man told me they had an availability open at 4:30 only. I said it was okay. I reschedule everything I had to do to work on that time. When I get there at 4:30, the man tells me I have to wait 30-40 minutes because no one is available. I was super frustrated I left. Why tell me a time that they are “available” , let me drive to the salon to tell me I have to wait. They always ask for a number when booking an appt. They could of had the decency to call me & let me know to come in later or reschedule. I kept going because I am still getting to know the Richmond area, and it was convenient, but I am officially done with this salon.

I asked for color powder, the lady had 2 different people come over to translate and I thought we were all on the same page but I guess not. She painted over my old nails, and at this point I was ready to leave so I just let it happen, my mistake. Gel polish should last ATLEAST a week without chipping, but after one day it started to chip, im now on day 5 and my color is starting to peel all the way off. $50 for a fill and the worst fill I’ve ever had. It looked like they had grown out a week the day I got them. One nail is a different shape then the others. I have been coming to blooming nails since they first opened in 2015. The service is excellent, the place is clean, and the owner Tammy is awesome! I would definitely recommend.

Went in for a basic manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was a really nice experience. But my manicure was just something else. Lol they sat me at a pullout table to rush me and my friend’s nails. I asked her to lightly shape my nails only to get left with sharp edges and uneven tips. Not only that but I asked for clear on my nails and not even 2 days later the clear chipped off in full pieces. Yes the place is clean but the work based off my experience doesn’t match the cleanliness of it.

Horrible service! Spent $85 on a pedicure and full set and they look an absolute mess! The paint job isn’t good & the nail tech cut me multiple times!!! Super mad I went to this place because I went there before a while back and the service was terrible but I just needed my nails done. I knew better than to come back. NEVER AGAIN!

I am a regular here. I always go Tammy. She is the best nail tech there. When I get my feet done its only 3 ppl. Either use Kim, Fun or Susan they are best with the feet. Customer service is good quality work.

I recently moved to Hercules and was in search of a nail salon near my home. My beautician referred me to Blooming Nail Spa. I called at 3pm to make an appointment for 5pm. As soon as I arrived I was seated. Ariel did a great job on my nails and Tammi did my eyebrows exactly as I had asked her and was done in less than 2 minutes. I will definitely be returning and also referring friends and family here whenever they’re in the area
