For starters, the salon is gorgeous! It is clean, bright and yet still tranquil. Draie is so personable and attentive. I’ve had my hair done several times by the sweetest stylist, Carly. She never misses! Carly is always able to give me the smoothest blow out and style, despite my natural texture being coarse and curly. I am so happy with my low-maintenance, lived in color that still gives my hair dimension. This place is an Ypsi gem!!

Draie has been my stylist for over 5 years now, and I could not be happier. She is a thoughtful, creative, and caring person who takes the time to get to know her clients and their preferences. She deals expertly with my difficult, curly-wavy, tangly, stubborn hair (and also cuts my boyfriend’s hair when he is able to come in with me). I’ve gotten everything from purple ombre to coppery balayage, and it’s all been good.

I recently had my first appointment at Bloom + Riot with Carly. If I could give this place 10 stars I absolutely would. Carly was incredibly accommodating, she wanted to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted out of the appointment. The other girls in the salon were incredibly supportive of my hair cut and coloring, it was such a sweet environment to be in. Carly is so easy to talk to, I tend to be shy when it comes to asking for things I want – Carly made my appointment so comfortable and put me at ease. I love my hair, I’ve already gone back to see Carly and can’t wait to go back again. If you’re thinking about checking out this salon, this is your sign to definitely do it!!
