I had booked my appointment a month in advanced because I knew it would be graduation weekend. Showed up to my appointment a few minutes early. NOBODY greeted me. Sat there for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged me- and that was because I called them out on my appointment time. That was when the stylist quoted me 5 more minutes and it was still another 20 that I waited.

I loved everything from the Service to the Prices… The environment is so relaxing and professional in so many levels! Super disappointed. I had came in to get my hair washed, blow dried and styled because I had surgery and couldn’t lift my arms. My stylist was late so another stylist wash my hair which she did a great job. My issue is I have bonded extensions which are extremely soft and healthy however the stylish had burned my hair extensions with the blow dryer so badly that the ends of my hair feel like a straw broom. He had even burned my scalp a few times where I had jumped because of how hot the dryer was. I am extremely upset because of his mistake it will be costly for me because the damage is irreversible and would require to purchase a new set of extensions. I will not be returning.

I’ve been looking forward to trying this place out. I’m extremely disappointed. My style is absolutely nothing like the style I picked out and she dried my hair completely flat in the front. I did not like how the staff kept passing by in the small, congested area. While checking out, several employees were gathered around the desk. I was not happy with my service and I was asked, in front of four employees, if I wanted to leave gratuity. Very much put on the spot and awkward. Now not even 30 minutes outside of my appointment, my curls are falling out. Disappointed, not sure if I will be back.

Yikes. Let me first start off by saying I go to one of best now dry bars in highland park because that’s where I grew up. So I know what top-notch customer service looks and feels like.

I have curly hair, so I am no stranger to some pain in the name of beauty. However, I found my experience at blo dry bar to be unacceptable. My fine/curly hair is porous, and can hold some moisture. The stylist did not towel dry my hair properly prior to applying heat. While blow drying my hair, the steam burnt my scalp multiple times. The stylists response was “it’s just the steam” when she notices I was uncomfortable. Also, she scratched my face, and I have a wedding to attend today. Overall, the blowout was sub par; it was something I could have achieved at home with a straightener. I wanted the Hollywood style blowout, but the style is flat on top. I am very disappointed with my experience, and I would not recommend someone visit this establishment.

Of course, I got a blow-out. The scalp massage was amazing, worth the extra $$$. I asked for “beach waves” but received a pattern wave cascading down my hair that looked really bad. I would go back but not to that same stylist.

I had an unexpected circumstance come up causing me to run late for an appointment I booked for myself and a friend. I called to apologize and inform them we were running late and I was told we would pay for the full service but not receive the full service; if we canceled the appointment we would be charged the full amount for no services received. I should have paid closer attention to the cancellation policy and I take responsibility for that but I find it very disappointing that a business would charge a customer $80 for no services provided instead of inconveniencing themselves to extend their customers a little grace for admitting you running a little late. Pushing our appointments back by 30 minutes would not have messed up any other appointments that day as I was told we were the last appointments Scheduled. Our appointments were at 5 pm and their business hours on Friday state they are open until 8pm, so I don’t see how the extra 30 minutes would cost the business any extra money. It was explained as a franchise policy, but when the customer comes last it is a business and franchise I choose not to do business with.
