I happened to be in town for a wedding (October 2022) and was desperate for a blow out. I found Blo via Google and was able to snag an appointment for the next morning. I’m from CT and never been to blow out bar. I had no expectations and this location was AMAZING. I was lucky enough to be booked with Queen. She is a gem! I swear it was part therapy, massage, and the glow up was real. She killed my bouncy, curl blowout. The volume was unreal. Most importantly the appointment was so relaxing and stress free. If I were local I would 100% be a regular client. The owner was a doll and so appreciate the Halloween goodies at checkout. Worth every penny. High end products used and quality service. UPDATE: I called back to ask for a refund and the owner offered to have someone else redo my hair if I had time. I am so happy with my hair the second time. She throughly washed my hair and styled it with a lot of volume and curl. It’s perfect and has held up! Highly recommend requesting Rae, she was very personable and did a wonderful job on my hair.

Blo is my favorite place in Charleston to get my hair blown out. The staff is always so friendly and they do my hair exactly how I want it every time. I never have to fix it or touch it up when I get home and they don’t overuse product. Nena gives a great blowout! Won’t go anywhere else! The original stylist wasn’t confident she could do the style that I wanted, so after drying my hair, she turned me over to a stylist with more experience with updos. I received many compliments on my hair, and would definitely use this salon again if I was in town.
