After hearing great things about Bliss, I stopped in to get a fresh set for fall. I love love LOVE my nails! I had never gone with this shape before but they turned out amazing and I left feeling so cute. You can tell everyone there takes pride in their work and wants your nails to look great, not just to get you in and out. I will definitely be back!

I love the concept. However, they seemed too busy to serve drinks so I did not order one. I liked my nails and got what I asked for. They lasted as long as expected. One thing to note was a random long wait in the middle of the application where my tech disappeared for like 20 min without really telling me he was leaving. My friend that got a pedicure wound up getting done before me because of that.

At first, I was happy with Bliss Nails and Bar, they called us by name and the environment was nice. I came in for a manicure and one of my nails chipped within a day. Another nail tech was able to fix it, however, he was not very happy to do so. He tried to give me a gel nail in the place where it was chipped instead of power/dip nails which I had paid extra for. He said “this does not look like dip, and the person who did them did not do a good job”. He did however fix it. Again, the next day, another one of my nails chipped. Unfortunately I am out of town so I cannot come back in to get them fixed. My dip manicure costed $50, and it has chipped within days of getting them done. I would recommend going somewhere else to get your nails done. I would like a refund.

Had a very thorough pedicure when visiting! I was also greeted right away and seated within 5 minutes of my appointment. I was offered a drink (for purchase) immediately and everything was spelled out regarding services and prices very clearly. I will return when I’m in Des Moines next!
