I’ve been here about 5 times and I’ll definitely keep returning. I would classify this nail salon as more upscale due to price but I feel is worth it. They open a new pack of tools for every client, they use the plastic liner on the foot spas, and they have disposable jets. They also offer beverages (to include wine). My favorite thing about Bliss is being able to book appointments online because my schedule is so crazy I could never just walk in for a service. You can also make requests for your technician (be sure to also put their name in the notes) for your appointment. Oh and they have a rewards program, I haven’t redeemed any points yet but I love that.

It is more expensive than the average nail salon in this area but they do a great job. They do have basic pedicures but I usually get a bit more. I paid $142 for gel tropical pedicure with two toenails fixed and gel full set. Pedicure had the parrafin wax, sugar scrub, callus remover, extra neck massage in VIP room and hot stones foot massage. The atmosphere is very welcoming and beautiful. They have nice massage chairs and offer you drinks. May be good for a party or wedding. The people are friendly. The appointments were well organized. I was able to get a same day appointment with minimal wait. I would recommend this location.

I’ve only in the past year started getting acrylic nails done due to my anxiety was causing me to pull off my nails till they bleed. This has been a good way for me to find new more healthy ways to deal with my anxiety. I’ve tried 3 different salons over the past year and have not been happy with the quality. So when I was referred to Bliss, specifically Andrea by one of her clients, I was hesitant. Andrea soaked off my previous set that was lifting etc. That was a first for me, the other salons just pulled them off by sliding a tip under the acrylic or using cuticle clippers to pull and cut them to pieces. That was the painful experience I was expecting, however, that’s not what I experienced with Andrea. She seemed to really care about quality over quantity. I was so pleased with my nails and the experience. Also, I’m writing this review a month later and the nails are still in good shape! In other salons, the nails would only last 2 weeks if that! I’ll be getting a fill-in as soon as I can. One photo is from day 1 and the other is from a month later. The Salon was clean and they honored my appointment time which also did not happen at other salons. It’s a drive for me to Bliss, however, as long as I continue to want/afford my nails and Andrea is still working I’ll be going to Bliss!

I appreciate the cleanliness and professionalism but they are extremely s l o w. For me time management is EVERYTHING, it may work fine for a girls day out… but if you’re on your lunch or busy, I don’t recommend.

First off- GO SEE JEY!!! She is AMAZING!!!!!! She took a lot of time and detail into my pedicure and full set (both with gel and both with gems added). She is really good at what she does. My nails looked so great for my wedding. I got a lot of complements on them. She also suggested I do acrylics on my big toes to square them out and it looked so pretty.

I found this place and I go back every. Single. Time. Hannah is one of the very nail techs that actually takes her time no matter how busy it gets. She always wants your nails looking fabulous! This is the most comprehensive salon I have been to in Richmond. David was the owner that was able to accommodate my mother in law and wife on short notice. They treated us all very well. This was important to me as my mother in-law rarely treats herself to these things. The technicians were incredibly friendly and fluent to understand any unique requests.

I have been several times and each time I say I won’t go back. Today was the last. Unfortunately the nail girl painted huge humps in my nails with the gel polish. (This was after she filed it all off instead of soaking it)(maybe that’s where the humps came from). I politely asked her to re do the thumb (although 4 others were like this as well). She was very rude and her and the owner tried to convince me my nails are shaped like that. I get my nails done every two weeks. I know what they should look like. I was embarrassed and didn’t want to complain any further because there were people relaxing and enjoying their services right beside me. The owner gave me $5 dollars off. I never acted upset or anything in fact I was apologizing to her for having her re do the one nail! She continued to talk about my nails and show the technician next to her my nails.

Terrible experience here after being a client for months on the day before my daughters wedding. The nail tech had a tantrum that I wasn’t holding my hand correctly (I have had my nails done for 28 years never have had a difficult time with any tech. Ever.) and threw a tantrum and then was verbally abusive. Then she cut me. After that, she went in the back and did a reenactment for the rest of the team. which was awesome. They did give me $5 off and a new tech for my bleeding hand. Never again. There are so many nicer options.
